The dad who keeps saying things are bussin is awesome dad vibes. I love it. I will say tho, it seems like their 1-10 scale is weighted heavily on the high end and you can tell because they will say its not that good and still give it a 6,7, or 8. I know they are just being super polite. There is so much amazing mexican food out there. Good vid tho!!

I like Chipotle, but I really think it needs to stop branding itself as "Chipotle Mexican Grill." It was created by a white guy from Indiana. There's no shame in branding Chipotle as Mexican fusion or inspired. Panda Express already does it, they're branded as American Chinese food. They don’t even say come to dinner, they literally say “vente por un tacito” and it can be anything, not even taco related lol Enjoy the food, enjoy the process and eat. My Mexicans get too wrapped up on this “authenticity” aspect

Burritos are little donkeys. It's an aglo term used to describe for some unknown reason, a taco. And no burritos are not common in Mexico they're just tacos no matter how you fold them wrap them.

Chipotle burritos seem to be based on the mission style burritos from Pancho Villa taqueria in the San Francisco mission district. It used to be a local thing. Cheap and tasty, and filled you up for the day.

Burritos were created in México and they are very common in the northwest part of México. We just don't super size everything like gringos. Burritos are usually smaller and typical on any city from this region.

here in Switzerland, we make tex-mex sometimes at home and it is not authentic Mexican... but that is not the point, Tex-Mex is an American an international adaptation of Mexican food, just like what happens with Italian food, or Chinese food,it is inspired... we put our own local cheeses in the burritos, own homemade sauces, etc... never buy the packaged sauces or guacamole mixes... better make your own.

i am not a mexican dad... but i think their scores are legit. They should ask more people. I think their quesadillas are actually quite good. The burritos can be pretty decent, however huge . Their chips and salsa are still imo the best thing for me in the menu, simple , amazing quality. I have tried bowls once, burritos once and quesadillas twice. The winner for me has always been the nacho chips and tomatoe sauce. Second close for me are the quesadillas but I would probably eat 3 serving. lol

I have a suggestion for you to try tacoria. Its a mexican-based chain. that has one of the best authentic mexican food you can find. I reccomend you try the nachos, burrito, there burrito bowl and for dessert Nutella Tortilla Chips!

As a Mexican, I personally love Chipotle😂. With that said, I never get anything but the bowl. And if I want Mexican food I don’t go to chipotle. I know hella Mexicans who go there all the time (I’m from California). The only Mexicans who go hard against it are the prissy ones. It may not be authentic(who cares) but it’s quality ingredients and better than a traditional fast food like McDonald’s or Taco Bell
