I tried your suggestion of vinegar down the overflow tube. I have to say, vinegar is a magical liquid. The disgusting black mold that I cleaned out every few days seems to have pretty much disappeared. I'll try some more if need be. The toilet paper hack should finish the job nicely.

I have one of those pressure-assist toilets. There is no overflow pipe. I can't figure out how to get the vinegar into the rim area. any ideas?

I’m going to try both of these tips at once. First clog up the jets with finger soaked toilet paper. Then pour the vinegar in the overflow. Hopefully the tp will hold the vinegar in the rim and ensure a nice soak inside and out. Update a month later: ever since trying these tips my toilets have been perfectly clean and the mold has not even tried to come back!

I’ve been using 6% acidity cleaning vinegar recently and have been spraying it under the rim several times a week before I go to bed. I have yet tried putting it in the tank yet. Thanks for the video!

Thank you! I found yo ur channel from the other video and am going to try both tricks. In my home citric acid usually works best for hard water stains but I’ll try vinegar first and go from there. I use citric acid powder as a toilet bowl cleaner.

I believe the acetic acid in vinegar is stronger than citric acid.

Wow, great hack...I got turned on to your channel from the video about pouring vinegar down the pipe in the tank...for forever this gunk in the toilet has bothered me and I'm always scrubbing it with bleach, but I did the vinegar down the tank, and what a miracle!!! Ill remember this hack as well. Why is this information not readily known?!? (That's a rhetorical question! 😅)

I don't know why, but my toilet gets a ugly chunky buildup it looks like freaking soaked discusting toilet paper oysters,gross I know.I don't understand if it's mineralbuild up that looks like some type of mushroom,lol.What is that,I clean it but it comes back.I am going to do the vinegar hack both the 1st one and this one.THANK YOU SO MUCH SIR,YOUR TIPS HAVE IMPROVED MY BATHROOM PRIVATE TIME AND Has madeclean8ng less disgusting.
