It's a bit of a stupid thought, but these fields are probably the most likely places they could make large impressions. Imagine they chose a rainforest or something because of its biodiversity, they probably wouldn't leave an impression because it isn't aa huge plane of weak-stalked grain, nobody would see if it was laid down because the canopy coverage, and anybody would probably assume anything that was laid flat was an animal On the other hand, humans activities can be seen from space and we're everywhere, so an alien is probably curious what would be so valuable to a human that they would have so many acres dedicated to that they regularly care for but that also isn't well surveiled. If the aliens were real, I think it would be hard to prove they were anywhere else, but it also isn't unreasonable that they would be interested in our crop fields. Reasons beyond curiosity might be disrupting the food chain, poisoning, or otherwise altering our food Food for thought

@kittiekillah2 ай бұрын
They can’t make a device to capture supernatural phenomena because that would require understanding the phenomena fundamentally which would without a doubt just debunk the phenomena. That’s why the people who are into it use tools for measuring things that the tool doesn’t measure, and then they give an explanation using jargon that’s out of reach of the layman, but not to the point that it sounds unbelievable. So they’re like performers, and they have to be really good at walking the line lest they create a fool of themselves. Since there are just as many skeptics who want nothing but to dunk on the believers as there are believers who so desperately want to live in a fantasy world where truly anything is possible.

Not to be confused with crop marks! Crop marks are parts of a cereal crop that don't grow as high as other parts, which is impossible to see on the ground but can be spotted in certain kinds of aerial photography. Crop marks of specific shapes are caused by old structures underground, which reduce the growth rate of the cereal directly on top of them. Circular ones in the UK are often evidence of iron age roundhouses.

19:32 my fan theory is what if it’s people from the future finding the most gullible times in history to mess with people. Like they don’t visit the 2020+ because people stopped caring about stuff like this. But they’re like let’s fly planes and make crop circles in the 1900s cause why not?
@MrThankman3602 ай бұрын
They probably used something heated to make the ones that don’t break,wish is why the tops are straight. They’ve basically been ironed. Probably changes the molecular structure a bit from the heating, which is why the bread tastes different.

It's interesting how the simplest explanation (man-made) doesn't suffice for many. It seems that we, as humans are inclined towards mystery and the unexplained.

Kind of wild to think that back in the day they had to either get a plane or helicopter out over the fields to take a picture of the crop circles in their entirety and nowadays you can get a drone for a few hundred bucks and not only take photos, but full hd videos. Crazy how much easier the logistics for something like this are today. Hell, you could even use a drone now to give you a live view of your design while you're working on it to make sure you're not messing up lol.

Crop circles are actually very easy to produce with very simple tools. The rows in the corn fields make for easy measurements. All you need is a layout of the land, some rope and long boards.

The monoliths from 2020 are probably the closest we will get to this again. I remember people being bewildered by the first one, but the copy cats around the world were of lesser quality, so people caught in quick that they were man made

The main reason why it matters that the crops are bent and not broken over is that it implies that something heated the plants up(or the moisture inside was heated without the outside being damaged ) and they bent over rather than being forced over manually where they would break.

As someone who works around plants a lot, that's not necessarily a heat thing, but a moisture thing. And guess what there is a lot of during the night that disappears during the day most people forget about? Dew! At least, that's my theory. Dew is also a lot more prevalent during summer, created by the hot and cold air, which is when these crop circles were made. This is the reason why day time crop circles break instead of flatten. The original makers probably didn't realise why it worked or didn't either.
@PoserOtaku2 ай бұрын
@@ablah949 that's actually a really good point I used to do a lot of weed pulling and you want to do it early before the ground dries and then the plants just rip instead of being pulled out completely. And a lot of it is the ground being harder but the plants being more rigid
@4RILDIGITAL2 ай бұрын
I lean more towards the explanation of man-made crop circles. But then again, there are some compelling arguments and intricacies that induce a bit of doubt. As usual, a seemingly simple phenomenon with a whirlpool of theories.
