as someone who is constantly fighting for my life to not let my room devolve into a bio hazard (combo of adhd and depression that went untreated for years) methods i utilize to keep my space livable and safe: -instead of folding laundry i just have a bottoms, tops, and underwear bin, this makes doing laundry feel easier -instead of changing my sheets once a week (like ur supposed to) i have a couple blankets i sleep on top of and just add into my normal laundry cycle, it’s so much easier to lay a flat blanket out on top of a fitted sheet than having to take on and off a fitted sheet every week -if i can’t get myself to take a dish all the way to the kitchen i’m at least putting any leftover food in the trash can/dumping leftover drink in the bathroom sink so there’s no food just sitting out in dishes -you have to put trash in the trash can you just have to, if it’s in a trash can with a plastic liner it’s so much less likely to become toxic to you just use the trash can, put it directly next to ur bed/desk/where ever u spend the most time, have multiple if that helps

Please if you can’t afford it get on Medicaid it will take a long time but it will really help. Bed bugs are like lice, you get them from someone who has them and your personal cleanliness doesn't matter since all they want is your blood and a dark place to hide (like under your sheets or in your box spring or a mattress seams.) a dirty living space will attract other insects but usually the kind that'll eat rotting food, not blood suckers. I will say a dirty space would give them more places to hide and harder to kill but that's not why they're there.

My gaming set up used to be a wooden chair, a laptop, and a mouse thats a couple decades old. Luckily for me my girlfriend bought me a new mouse a bit over a year ago. So now when i use the mouse on the side of my leg due to lack of table, its a functioning mouse
