1) Yes, my parents used to let me eat sugary food. However, they didn't let me eat sugary food before the main course. Only as a desert, after a meal. 2) He could get me out if he was my boss and told me that next day I couldn't work 3) Your video lessons encouraging me to go on to learn English and don't give up. 4) My boss had me describe all tasks. I work in an IT company and every 2 weeks we have a pack of tasks with only titles. However, I should describe all of them, but in some of them, I don't even know what we should do. 5) I'm an only child, but I have 2 older cousins who made me bring their toys

1-My parents always let me do whatever floats my boat. 2-They couldn't get me to come out cuz as soon I came back from outside, I hit the hay, 3- It was about a few weeks ago, I encouraged someone to continue learning English cuz he was feeling down at that time. 4- Let's suppose that I have a boss, He would probably make me do most of the tasks since I'm gonna be new to pretty much everything. 5-My older brother used to make me go outside to buy things to him as if I were his servant or something. Thanks for the lesson♥

Learning English. Learning English is very useful and important. Why is it important? Because it is an international language. We only learn English, and can be used in all of the world. When we are in London, America, Canada, India, we can use English for communication with the people any where. Why is it important? By having good skill on English, it will increase our career either as student of as worker. To get the success in learning English, we must have true and strong intention to learn it. The second, have good motivation to learn and speak English every where and anytime. Thank you

@@papateachme Hi! I'm working in Spain. Where English classes are basically grammar classes. ( I guess that's why in Spain students understand grammar but it's is unlikely for them to have a conversation in English). My question anyway, are there any tips to teach them how to fill in the gaps when they have to use multiple tenses. It's quite a burden for them to understand and for me to teach them. Of course there are key words....but sometimes they need to understand the context which they don't.......????

Hi Aly. Another similar structure is: to have/get something done. I find it quite useful especially when I don't need to specify the subject of the action. Many thanks.

To sum up I would use "to task" because I think it's the perfect fit throughout the video. Aly tasked Tom to get pizza. Aly tasked Tom to put on a new bright coat. And finally, Aly tasked Tom to shave his hair (perhaps having persuaded Tom it was meant for him to gain a competitive edge, ha-ha ) Aly tasked him, but the action never happened actually. You could have said "I made him shave his hair" if he, Tom, had appeared bald later on. Which didn't happen (or I missed something?) So sorry, mate, "No, you're alright", I reject the choice of these verbs ("make, force, get "). Apart from that the lesson is brilliant. Aly, you won't fail to have the viewers in stiches. ;))) PS Who want a whole another video about "have" - upvote this comment (give it a thumbs-up!) to encourage Aly to do it. Aly you better do what you promissed, and make it snappy. Or else... you know better than me that we have ways to get you to do that. (Or force to do that? xo-xo ...no we're not that evil :) ) Cheers!

I really like your way of presenting lessons and I'm wondering if you can teach us how to teach lol...I mean English is a foreign language for us and we have plenty of theoretical applications about teaching, and because I have found your method useful and effective for me I decided to ask you if you can do so..such as what is effective teaching and learning? how to manage classroom interaction? how to create a supportive learning environment? Types of learners..How to reduce FL anxiety and so on...I know that we can find all these in Google or even KZbin but as I mentioned before I'm interested in your techniques..Thank you for all your efforts you are a great teacher.
