I love the word of the year. And the charm. I will put Bible verses on mine. LOVE IT! And since you used the word "Simplicity" the fact that yours is a bit less ornate, I think that's a perfect blend for the look you were going for. Thank you for sharing.

I love this idea! It gets me that I buy supplies but as yet have yet to make a charm! This would be fun to try! My oldest had a paperclip necklace that was floating around here for years. The paper clips were wrapped - I remember that 70's orange and yellow - quite possibly Contact Paper!

I usually turn words the other way, like book spines, and for some reason when I was making this, it just didn't look right to me somehow. Fortunately, all we have to do is turn them around when we want. They can hang either way! :)

Very pretty. I love how you choose the large paper clip and then add the little ones at the bottom (Nice) I also had came across Paula's same video last summer and I also made some of my own. I use them to attach to Mini Travelers Note Books. Thanks guys for sharing.

Hi Lolly the charm holder came out really nice. I think I'm going to make one with my grandkids names 5 girls 1 boy and then one of the girls has a boyfriend which found out he had a girl so the chain continues you gave me a great idea which is beautiful and I'll display this in my craft room and place it in front so I can see it every day. I love it Lolly.. You probably could coat the paper with triple thick after you put the paper on the clip so it won't tear.. You can use fabric to.. The possibilities are endless.. ❤️😇🤗🤓

These are super cute! I have made the bigger paper clip charm, but did not add the smaller paper clips to the bottom, like it a lot! Also, I would add the smaller paper clips to the bottom of the large paper clip, with jump rings, not sure if the pins you used, would stay closed and if you add some beads to the bottom of the smaller paper clips, it would look cute!

or the paper clips can be threaded onto the bottom of the top clip, before paper is applied. No jump rings needed.

New subscriber here - and I'm afraid you are introducing me to at least a dozen more crafts I'll have to try! (As if I don't already have my hands in dozens of different crafts!) LOL I've watched several of your videos over the past couple of days, and I'm amazed at all the different glues you use for various things. I'd LOVE to see you do a video of just all the glues you use, ones you've tried but don't like for whatever reason, why the ones you use are the ones you've stuck with, what the purpose of each is in regards to what circumstances you use a particular glue and why, the list goes on... Because my head is spinning from all of them!

That's a great idea. I recently taught a craft class, and it was obvious that they hadn't used permanent glues before. :) Some wanted to use paper glue to attach plastic to paper. Not gonna work. :)
