Iv used pvc plumbing pipes as armature in large scale projects, that would be a good water proof alternative to cardboard. Its cool cos u can bend the pipe with heat (hot sand poured inside the pipes, helps keep its shape while it bends) or heatgun. Good cos its really strong too

All of a sudden, I was thinking that you must be good at frosting cakes. The fun thing about paper mache is that you can always change them if they don't turn out right the first time. Mine almost never do, at first. And the first try at any craft is never as good as they will be after practicing a while. Go ahead and give it a try!

Hello! I have a question. I start making large, kinder joys, or you can call them Easter eggs, too. I am gonna use your recipe for paper macher clay as a final cover. What is the best way to dry them? Is it good to put them next to oil heater?Thank you!

The fastest way to dry them is to put them in front of a fan. Your heater probably has a manual that says how far you need to keep it away from anything that can burn, like furniture. Use that as a guide, and don't put your kinder joys too close. A fan by itself is almost as fast as heated air.

"nice magazine's paper", Madame, is excellent for paperclay and papercrete! one just has to be careful with the ink chemistry as some may be toxic ... As for papermache making, true, that paper is really a no no ;)
