I REALLY appreciate a concise video tutorial. No chatting and screwing around, no ridiculous intro music. You get right to the point, work quickly, and edit any unnecessary time. Clear directions and easy to see what you are doing. Not once did your hands go off camera either. Every KZbinr who makes tutorials should take a lesson from you. Thank you!

Finally I can stop searching through KZbin for a paper piecing tutorial. You made this look easy and explained it well. Most other videos skipped over basic explanations or rushed straight in and seemed to have lost that beginner brain. Thank you for thinking like a beginner so I could finally understand how it’s done.

Thank u a million times over for.....1-No unnecessary chatting at the beginning, 2-getting right to the point & showing how to do paper piecing, 3-making the instructions simple. Is been forever since I've done PP. I also made my own PPPattern & was unsure how to get started cuz I've only done PP 1 once ever. I'm sitting at my sewing machine getting frustrated trying to line up the fabric design so the 'design in the fabric' cuts out & appears perfect when done. I'm making my own Quilt Design Pattern, but I waited a little over 10 yrs to finally get to making it...bad me. Designed it Feb 6-7, 2010. When I came on YT to find a REFRESHER for PP, yours looked like u might be quicker at explaining/showing HowTo, & u were. I just don't have much patience anymore at my age....even with MYSELF...lol. A BIG Thumbs Up here. Blessings, L :)

Thank you for this clear and concise tutorial. I took a foundation paper piecing class well over ten years ago and haven't done any FPP since. I am working on a 12 block pattern with each block having different large borders. Everything was going well until block #12 which has a FPP border. The directions are pretty sketchy as I think the pattern author assumes the reader knows the procedure for FPP so I turned to my favorite learning place -- KZbin and found you! Now I am back to my block #12 with some confidence. Thank you!!!

What a wonderful video. I have tinkered with the concept before I saw your video so I already knew what to do. But, on a whim I gave a look. Too often I watch videos that are 2-3 times longer than they need to be and I find myself shouting at the creator "get to the point already!" You get to the point very quickly, cleanly and practically. Your how-to is brilliantly conceived and well executed. As a side note for those wanting to do this, obtain Inkscape to design your own. Also, Amazon sells ultra-thin paper that works great for this. I am not going to provide links, but readers have they keywords to Google or search on Amazon.
