I have been a paper planner for the longest time. But I have been planning both on paper and digitally for the past five years, and it works well for me.

I admit I went from paper to a digital. I loved my paper planner but I made the switch because I don't have room for a printer and all the stuff on the road. I also hate paper clutter and found relief by moving to digital. I don't use a regular tablet. I use a Supernote which is e-ink. I love being able to create a notebook for anything at anytime. The writing surface is the most like paper I've found. I was already creating my own planners. This took away the extra steps of printing, cutting and punching. I still keep a jot pad for quick notes in my purse but my Supernote is much lighter to carry and no glass to worry about breaking. Supernote is meant for productivity and writing first so it doesn't work the same as other tablets. I appreciate the fact I can write undisturbed without a notifications.

#replay I'm a hybrid planner. Work is very digital but I like the ability to step to step away from the screen. Take myself off to a quiet space away from screens. Notion is where I store a lot of recurring tasks, and future work tasks and I bring them forward into my paper planner so i can "see" them.

I am hybrid. I use digital to hold the zoom meetings and stuff like that. But I need to transfer them to writing on my monthly calendar and weekly calendar and a daily calendar, sometimes, to keep them in mind. I also use a dry erase wall calendar to keep track of things with the family. I like erasing things to show that way of going through time as we get further into the month too. I would love a dry erase board for daily schedule and doing that erasing things as they pass by too.

Primarily paper. I started utilizing a digital method approximately two years and I transfer it to paper. I like writing :)

I am a PAPER Planner. Tried digital once😂 died, and so did EVERYTHING I stored. I was lost. NEVER again. Digital for a quick appointment jot, but I RUN quickly to my paper planner.😂❤

I use a paper planner while budgeting digitally. I found I am more likely to use a planner I can visually see on my desk versus opening my iPad and using a digital one.

I have loved paper planning and journaling since I was a teen. I still love it for personal life planning. But for my work (teaching) I have worked my way to completely digital planning just because it's quicker to access and customize for work tasks.

There’s a grey area in the paper vs digital debate that always frustrates me cause it doesn’t get acknowledged: digital paper planning ie using an iPad or tablet and Apple Pencil as a planner. It’s all the benefits of paper, but in a digital format, but also all the cons of digital unless you set up your iPad/tablet to function without notification or distraction apps.

The one that’s best is the one someone actually uses. I have Goodnotes and paperlike on my tablet but I much prefer paper. I love good quality paper and a great pen and of course a few beautiful stickers but not too many.
