Paper Projects to Master on ANY Cricut Machine!

I have been watching all the videos and lives when I catch them, for the past year (I am obsessed with you guys). I did not have a Cricut and had never used one but I was learning as much as possible to be ready for the day I did. My boss bought me a Maker (that's what I wanted thanks to your comparisons video) last month. I took it right out of the box the day it was delivered and was able to set it up with no problem. I felt so accomplished...lol Thank you all for making something that could be so overwhelming so easy!!

That tree is awesome but it is expensive and takes a lot of time. I bought a 12 inch one on line for 2.99 so I don't think I would try this but now I can appreciate what it takes to make it. Thanks for the share.

I use a wallpaper tool to burnish down the paper or vinyl. It’s the yellow plastic thing.

Could you use those metal nose bridge pieces from mask-making supplies that you cut down with wire cutters to close the tree up? Or, prong paper fasteners? Those materials can be bent many times without breaking. I feel like accordion shaped paper objects you buy use something like that. They probably wouldn’t even need to be attached to the paper to work, but it’d be easy enough to bend them, then attach one side with tape.

Hi, can I ask does the Cricket have the ability to cut out shapes on 12 x 12 scrapbook paper to avoid fussy cutting.

Could you use fusable web to attach to the tray? Would the Cricut cut through the web? I would like to see one with a resin top.

My penmanship is so bad and I think I am in a very small majority of kids who went to Catholic school with bad penmasmanship. Even the boys in my class had beautiful penmanship thanks to Sister Thomas who had us do pages and pages of that lined paper with circles and up and down strokes. Glad that I was able to use a computer when I had to write anything for work.

Stampin up do a lovely paper and scorning trimmer, also don’t put your project right on the edge of the mat

Why nor use a dry or spray adhesive for the hexagons and then spray seal that? Would that be a less fussy approach?

I've thought about joining makers gonna learn but I'm Wiccan/witchy and I know you guys are really religious so I'm hesitant switching because I can get a lot of witchy svg files on cricut design space. I'm not sure I can find the same with you guys.
