Here is my paper towel usage. My paper towels cost me $.50 each. I use one roll of paper towel within two weeks. So it’s not that much. But I however also like Norwex. I don’t think I’ll ever get away from paper towels for emergency uses. But I will buy more in Vairo cloths in time.

Same I use counter cloths the majority of time but I have young kids and would rather soak up pee messes with paper towels. Kids are gross! I go through a roll about every 2ish weeks.
@kristenboe3 жыл бұрын
@@KbugsKreations same here. I use my counter cloths for cleaning and wiping, but when my puppy pees on the carpet I need instant soak-up and paper towels do that faster than the counter cloths.

Can you help me understand how to keep them smelling good. All the Norwex products over time seem to get an odor that is hard to get out once it sets in over time.

Considering these for cleaning up my puppy’s little accidents. Thoughts? And where do you all “store” your dirty cloths until you’re ready to wash them?
@atacarrillo Жыл бұрын
In theory, if you par wash it, (press it together, agitate by rubbing itself, and then rinse well), you can let it dry 24 hours, baclock will purify it. Can’t wrap your head around using a rag you used on pee to then use on the counter? Here’s a great idea: My sister has 2 elderly dogs that constantly has accidents, she bought an envirocloth in a different color than any of her others that is meant just for the dogs. Everyone in the house knows that color is just for the dogs. If you par wash it properly and hang it in a designated spot, it will not get smelly and you can use repeatedly until you really think it needs to get washed! Get the counter cloths for your counter!!! I can’t live without mine!

My main usage of paper towels is to soak up grease, after like cooking bacon and you don't want to pour it down the drain as that's bad for the plumbing. Not sure how Norwex could replace this function.
@tiffanyfujita1943 жыл бұрын
You could poor the bacon grease into a foil cup (fold foil in the shape of a cup), let grease harden and throw away, or poor it in a glass container to dispose of.
@saxbabe3 жыл бұрын
@@tiffanyfujita194 I mean that I line the plate with one so after I take them out of the pan, they drip onto that and you don't have grease all over the plate. I will then use that dirty one to soak the excess from the pan if I'm not saving it to cook with later.
@shellymcshellowitz3 жыл бұрын
@@saxbabe try baking it on a rack in the oven over a cookie sheet! Restaurant cook their bacon on sheet pans and just drain off the grease! Super easy.. I use a cookie cooling rack so the grease drains off during cooking! No need for paper towels!

I agree. There's no way microfiber can do this job without using a lot of detergent. I don't think this product is directed at people like us who rarely use paper towels, it's for those who are continually using them to wipe up everything. And let's face it, it's just another thing to sell.

Since I'm often asked what would one need a counter cloth for if they already have an EnviroCloth, I thought this would be a good video to share and explain their benefits. That was up until the 01:19 mark when she said "Now you don't have to be a tree hugging mathematician." At that point, my excitement to share the video changed to shock, and to thoughts that "I can't share that with my customers, or potential customers, this would turn so many people off." " I can't believe someone in her position with the organization would say that, and that it would be posted to the channel for sharing." My goal is to bring awareness to the impact single use products has on our environment, but not to offend while doing so. I would hate to turn people off of Norwex as a company by posting this video in my VIP group, or parties. Could we get a re-do?

Renee, Thank you for sharing your concerns. We sincerely apologize for the offense this line has caused. It was not our intention to upset anyone, but we do now see how this line was thoughtless. We are working to update this video and will remove the line. The new version will be live in April.

How is this different from your environ cloth?
@larrywettlaufer25173 жыл бұрын
The major differences are size and usage since it is meant to replace paper towels - meaning, we keep the "house" with a supply by the sinks in the kitchen and bathrooms, etc. I don't think people tend to keep an EnviroCloth right next to the sink all the time. The house also allows for easier drying of the size of cloth as one drapes it overtop.
@thatclothgirl3 жыл бұрын
Kathy, the major difference is the density and weave - they are more absorbent than envirocloths!
