Yea, I dig the retro look in some games and this one works I think.

Well, speaking of Napoleon's Eagles and the Storming of Leipzig bonus scenario, it should be noted that, unfortunately, mistakes were made in the process of getting the scenario into print. The biggest one, probably, was the omission of the setup chart which players will need to play the new scenario. Fortunately, this situation is in the process of being corrected. In the short term the chart is available for download in the files section of the Napoleon's Eagles portion of the overall space at BoardGameGeek, and in the longer term there will be errata for the scenario which will include the chart to appear in Paper Wars Issue #101 which will probably be out some time in May as things now stand. Patience will pay off in the end, I believe.

Glad I could help. It was, I think, the least I could do given the circumstances.

2 things... 1) Devil Boats mention...continues to put a smile on my face. 2) Like the way you completely unfolded the map so that we could check it out. All too often, maps somehow remain folded in unboxing videos.

I always give a full look at the map, as long as I can fit it on screen. If it's too large to show at once, I'll at least show it in segments. Thanks for watching! :)

Don't forget The Storming of Leipzig bonus scenario that I did along with Chris, the designer of the original Napoleon's Eagles game. That was some serious work but I think it was well worth it.
@MoesWargames2 жыл бұрын
That's mentioned in the preview, around 3:55 mark.
@jamesnoone74032 жыл бұрын
It was mentioned but it seemed to have been glossed over a bit compared with one or both of the other articles that each include a bonus scenario for another boxed game. I know that there were mistakes made in the process of getting TSoL into print but I thought that it could have gotten a little more attention. If I do say so I think there is some really good stuff to be found in that article.

Again, glad I could help. This info is something that anybody that wants to play TSoL will need to know.

Just to be clear, for anyone that doesn't already know, in order to play The Storming of Leipzig, players need to own(or have access to) a copy of Napoleon's Eagles: Storm in the East. I guess I should have mentioned it sooner but now that is done.

Got it. Played it. Most excellent! The only thing: the Italian n the one allied troop counters are very similar. Colour. Bit of a pain.

Moe, don't forget to link this to the BGG entry for the game!
@MoesWargames2 жыл бұрын
I'd put the link in for the magazine and game, so people could purchase it if they wanted to. I've also added a link to the game from BGG now. Thanks! :)

I have the original version by SimCan. Any reason to get this remake?
@MoesWargames2 жыл бұрын
I don't have the SimCan version, so I honestly couldn't make a comparison between the two from experience with them.
