Nice! I'm a former Dungeons & Dragons nerd from way back, and I've seen fans of the game shell out some crazy cash for the right items. I stopped playing years ago, so I sold all my stuff and had zero problems with finding buyers for any of it. I did keep my collection of gaming dice, though. I leave them in a jar on my desk and roll one whenever I get a bad case of "decision block".

I think that's what it was. There also was a Yeti type bottle in there that had some liquid in it too, so might have been a combination of both.

I am sitting here cleaning off duct take glue from a rolling Ikea desk draws I recieved in a unit - right after you said Illigal stuff I pull out the bottom draw and you a glas pipe with plenty of black on it In all honesty In most units I find something questionable I just throw it away most of the time. If those mac books are not locked that is a nice find, if they are it a chore to get them unlocked.

I remember one place I worked, there was this awful smell, they couldn't figure out where it was coming from. I wasn't doing anything at the time, so I searched for the smell, it was a tiny mouse under the big fridge. Amazing how something so small could smell so bad, but it did.

The Panasonic machine looks like a "ruggedized" PC for industrial / construction use. It is just a regular computer but with extra tough housings and shock absorbing rubber bits around the delicate parts. Probably has solid state hard drives too. Any Pepsi in there, to go with the Coke? 8^) Nice storage unit finds!

Thanks for watching, Maria! That tote smelled so bad. My only guess was the old iced coffee that was still in that cup, perhaps it had creamer in it that went bad. A hot one here too, 88 degrees currently! Feels like we skipped spring and went right into summer!

Sadly I was thinking this storage unit may of belonged to someone who overdosed at home hence the smell and drug paraphernalia. The persons belongings were then put in a storage unit and never claimed.

Oh boy, what a unit 😅 You found some good usable stuff. I know nothing about MAC and Apple products but sure you can get something for them. Hopefully you'll be able to wash the clothes you want to sell, maybe go to a laundry mat? I'm not sure how to get pet hair off without a sticky roller 🤷‍♀️ My brother had that collection of C.S. Lewis books. I remember those book covers well. I did stumble across a huge lot of Vintage RPG and Dungeon and Dragons 2 years ago. Made a really good profit off of them. One was a rare holy grail piece and thankfully there is Ebay comps or I wouldn't know what to price them 😄

At first I thought the CS Lewis was the "Chose Your Own Adventure" because the cover reminded me of that. Those books were great!! During the fall, there was a reseller on KZbin that auctioned off an older, rare D&D instruction booklet set... I believe it brought in over $16,000. She found it at an estate sale sitting with some other books! One can dream of finding that!

The most important thing when you find electronics like computers, data cards, external back up drives, sticks, etc... check it on a blank computer (in case it has a virus) to see if there is bitcoin. People find bitcoin wallets on storage devices and become instant millionaires. It is like checking the pockets on the coat before we sell it... good luck! ps there are more than one crypto currency- look for words like etherium too. I am no expert but since I saw it on another channel, I check them all.

I think you and your friends who buy storage units should start "Storage Unit Bingo." Bad smell - medicine - dead animal - paper money - drugs - firearms - body. Maybe you could throw some grails in there too - D & D manias, etc. Whoever gets them all first gets a prize (the Taco Cat painting? or something nice?). Glad you'll make your $40 back and then some. I'm watching you on a MacBook Air that looks just like the one you found - so either I am hopelessly behind or it's worth something. If I ever find a body in a unit... eek! That would make an interesting video, for sure! I tried to watch where I was putting my hands, but most likely I need thicker gloves so as to offer a bit more protection against sharp objects. I just am too picky when it comes to gloves because I prefer not bulky & a tighter fit to my hands. Now to find a brand like that but that offers protection against sharper things! Storage Unit Bingo would be a good idea... will have to think of some other items to put on the card! Hope you have a nice weekend!

I'm watching this after 9mths, but I'm thinking it was a thief owned that unit. So many of multiple things were in there. Not sure about the illegal stuff, but it sometimes runs hand in hand with stealing, I think! Lol. Good video, but a stinky one! ❤
