Dude, Steve, That is badass. I love hearing that. Have you checked what production number it was yet? It will be the last 4-5 numbers on the vin. A guy posted here a few days ago saying he had a 78 bronco with #0,005 and he was about to restore it. I checked mine yesterday and its #4,034. Not that it means much unless you're ultra-low but still cool to check. Thank you for checking out the channel bud.

I have had my bronco for 17yrs. ive had to replace the latch a few times because it kept causing the window to not work, then i just bypassed the latch safety. one up side is it makes it easy to put the tail gate down, scroll the window out a bit and lube everything up once in a while. did you guys check the window motor bushings? in my experience thats usually what goes wrong with the ford motors, there is the metal center gear(which you see moving),and an inner plastic gear with torque pins(the bushings). I have had them work on the bench,but when pressure is put on the plastic inner gear,the torque pins bind up,not letting the motor move. Just a thought! I use wd40 dry lube ptfe spray on the regulators,grease tends to get too cold,attracts dirt from dusty roads,making the motor work harder and window move slower.
@PaperBeatsRock4 жыл бұрын
Sorry, I didn't show it on camera but yes we did check it. The motor looked surprisingly good. Just cleaned it up a bit, put new grease in it and let it rip tater chip.

@@mudmakerbydesign5424 I can tell you with me doing videos its been really fun. At first its very very overwhelming and also if you don't have many views that makes a lot of people quit. but don't let stuff like that beat you down. You don't need much equipment. Most phones with the camera are good enough, you will also need some kind of laptop or desktop to be able to do some basic editing on. Other than that just get out there and shoot and learn what makes you feel good. Treat it as you and your wife just doing higher-end recordings to document what you're doing. There are so many tutorials on youtube on how to set up stuff, proper ways to shoot film and whatnot. It's just like anything else. pick it up and run with it. Good luck with it and I would love to see some.
