for even more improvements: you can leave most of the tabs that get glued on white for the most part, just a bit color printed over the fold line for the hex makers: you could put them a tight as a hex map and if somebody cuts them out they still will fit on the map you could even add like water hexes and stuff it think, there is lot of potential in the marker sheet

Yeah, leaving a bit of white would be a way to further save on ink. I decided to have them colored because I’ve built a decent amount of papercraft terrain and it really annoys me when designers leave the tabs white and you can’t glue them perfectly every time and then the white shows. Yeah, the terrain counters were just an extra thing I threw in, certainly could develop them more to include stuff like water hexes and the like. Would love to make my own papercraft buildings too. My problem is I’m in no way any kind of graphic designer!

Loving the new versions! the guy who told you about saving printer ink here! idea for your next texture as im making some for this right now by drawing on the blank ones... The two hex tall maps are PERFECT for smoke on a field.. you can move it as its temporary and drifts with wind, smoke is 2 hexes tall by the rules. so time wise its nice in that you make one size and you're done. you could make make two versions one with and one with out fire at the bottom. this way you can tell the difference between burning terrain and a smoke grenade. OR make the end tiles different so you can simply flip it over. showing the players "this tile is on fire if you walk on it" or "this is just smoke blocking line of sight." also the bonus aspect of when your opponent sees you pull out 5-6 of those tiles before play they're gonna know its gonna be a bad game for their catapults :P

As someone that doesn't live in the US, where Battletech is non-existent, this content is a blessing! I've found the free version of the rules in the official page and I want to make the game as immersive as possible. Thanks a lot! For a future update, how about making arctic or industrial variants.

Cheers! Arctic/snowy ground I’ve had planned since the beginning but haven’t gotten around to it. Industrial/buildings etc. might be beyond my skills.

@@almostgoodvariant You are right, the blank hexes can be hand-painted, and I just got a new idea. How about buildings that occupy more than one hex column, like Hextech buildings, or they can be blank as well so they can be painted at will. English isn't my main languague so my grammar might not be the best.

@@Di3g0g0tzyn I think the easiest would be to just print several hills and glue them together for a big hill or ”building”.
