If both teams were fully fit then with Arsenal being at home you would probably have them as slight favourites but with the injuries and suspensions Arsenal have then I make Liverpool favourites. Believe me that I don't like saying that because I'm a massive Liverpool fan and I usually jinx them when I'm confident of a victory, lol. Just because Arsenal have injuries don't underestimate them, they're gonna be ready from the off. Liverpool they'll have to do what Chelsea did at Anfield and take the game to the Arsenal. I'm going for a draw but whatever happens all I want to see is football to be played like it should and not like Arsenal parking the bus as they did at the Eithad they're better than that. They've conceded THREE goals in 8 games in the league. They've conceded 5 goals in 12 games overall. That's no mistake. The fact is that the chances they've given away are very limited, not clean cut, and the few goals they have conceded have just been top quality goals, not bad defending! "I'm surprised at how good Liverpool have been this season," is yet another stupid, uninformed statement with little to no thought behing it. They were within 10 games of a quadruple chance last season.... WITH A FULL NEW MIDFIELD! How on earth is it so difficult to comprehend that a team so close to a quadruple, who challenged in the league till the final hurdle with a full new, inexperienced midfield.... has improved? Why are a pundits so surprised🤣? "We never knew Liverpool would be at this level." 🤣 it's crazy! Challenged with a full midfield rebuild, but all these "experts" are surprised that those midfielders are better in the side when they've had a year to gel🤷‍♂️🤣! Madness. Bare in mind, none of these younger midfielders had ANY bedding in period. Where teams normally bed replacements in, rotating them with experienced guys, that never happened. The whole midfield of liverpool was just obliterated, then the new boys thrown in at the deep end without any time to learn their roles, learn how the team works and learn their teammates strengths and weaknesses. To almost challenge under those circumstances, the fact they've improved is the most common sense outcome. These pundits are honestly so bad at their job.

Strictly speaking, Arsenal has only conceded 4 compared to Liverpool's 3. It is only 1 more than Liverpool. It is beyond a shade of doubt that the Arsenal has the best defence in the Premier League. They not only possess the best central defence partnership of Gabriel and Saliba, but also versatility and depth in their defence. To further elaborate, they have seven senior players who are centre backs in the likes of Saliba, Gabriel, White, Calafiori,, Tomiyasu, Kiwor and Timber. Timber and Tomiyasu are very decent right backs and Partey is not too bad a deputy as well. On the left, the versatility of Jurrien Timber makes him an excellent left back. However, Calafiori should be Mikel's permanent left back and he is growing into the role with great aplomb since he joined the team. Not forgetting that they also have Zinchenko, Kiran Tierney in their senior squad.
