My great-grandfather was born in 1919, three years before the Soviet Union was created. He was not yet five years old when Lenin died. Therefore, he spent his entire childhood and adulthood under Joseph Stalin. He was thirty-seven years old when he joined the Communist Party in 1956, three years after Stalin died. By that time, Nikita Khrushchev had already delivered his secret speech, and he had to help with the de-Stalinization Khrushchev began. My great-grandfather said of Khrushchev: "He was my favorite leader, because... well, he was ridiculous." He said of Brezhnev: "He liked to kiss everyone. I'm glad he never kissed me." He said that: "Andropov was crazy, because who bans grapes when you could just ban alcohol?" According to him: "Chernenko was just a walking corpse." He never said anything about Gorbachev, because he had received a Thank You Letter from him in 1987. He also received a Thank You Letter from Boris Yeltsin in 1990, and another one rom Alexander Lukashenko in 1997. He was my only great-grandparent who lived to see the fall of the Soviet Union, the twenty-first century, and the only one I got to know. He died peacefully in 2012 of natural causes. He was almost ninety-three years old.

The Cold War could qualify as a World War considering it manifested across a series of global proxy wars. Funded and supported directly by either side. How do we define a "World War" because world war one was just European and a bit of Africa. World War Two avoided half of the world as well. While the colonial era saw War break out across most continents simultaneously and then again after the fall of the Empire but those are just battles. So like? Is a world war when the world is at war? Or just what America, Brittain, and France agree it is? I'm just busting your chops. Theres literal definitions I'm dancing around.

Therefore, Capitalism, and the United States will win the Korean War. We won every single war except for the Vietnam War.
