Thanks for sharing Matt, no i have not tried i catch them fine with a ballhead.I love the weight forward design when the bait is dropping gives the tail great action.When fish decide to swim to the bottom they usually do it head first.They generally dont just sink down horizontal.The idea is to look like a fleeing baitfish.

I love all the Core Tackle baits. I'm able to use plastics in so many different ways. When fishing is tough, they are hard to beat.

For sure! I’m always impressed with how versatile they are.

What about the belly weighted screw lock hooks for small skinny swimbaits
@MattBeckerFishingКүн бұрын

I enjoy the Tush and the Ozark Rig hooks from Core Tackle. Mainly have been using them when I river fish.

I like the Tush but for the life of me, I can’t seem to rig the 1/4 oz (finesse version) on a Keitech 3.3 without tearing the bait all up. Am I doing it wrong?
@MattBeckerFishing22 сағат бұрын
The 1/4 is pretty fat… I typically use the 3/16 and 1/8

Have you seen it produce more than a ball head? What size and weight for a 2.8 fat? Doesn’t hurt to give it a try
@MattBeckerFishing22 сағат бұрын
I’d go small as possible!
