As of March 2018 there were the equivalent of 6,349 full time police officers working across Greater Manchester - down from 8,148 in 2010. In 2010 the region's then Chief Constable, the late Michael Todd, said he needed 11,000 officers to adequately protect the public. Police say growing demand and dwindling numbers mean they are struggling to investigate car crime.
@Zwia. Жыл бұрын
That's coupled with the population shooting up too. The tories are supposed to be tough on crime, yet they cut police numbers and budgets to the bone to give the wealthy more tax breaks. They're supposed to be tough on immigration yet they are bringing more in than when we were in the EU and now they are black and brown immigrants rather than white eastern european. They have cut the local council budgets the most though, my area can't even afford basic services. Now they refuse to give public sector workers a pay rise, so with inflation the police, nurses, firemen, bin men, bus train drivers are now doing the same work for way less money. Meanwhile the private sector is giving out big pay rises across the board. Can't wait until they get voted out, they are utterly incompetent and only care about helping the wealthy.

@@Zwia. wrong about the tories, its labour you need to be worried about, the private sector is less secure than the public sector , and I do work in the public sector thanks, the bigger the pay rise you give people which equals prices going up and taxes going up, think of the bigger picture, they will give the public sector a pay rise soon, you need to be realistic instead of this class war bs

Great to see these old vids, absolutely. But why are these so-called expert pursuit officers driving along bouncing off the rev limiter all the time? It's *terrible* driving. And one thing that will *always* boil my piss, is the ridiculous two-handed shuffling of the steering wheel. Despite whatever the IAM (Institute of Advanced Motoring) say, it's fucking dangerous. Put it this way, if that was the best way to control a vehicle - especially at high speed - you'd see racing/rally drivers do it. Which you don't. Ever.

I ask myself, if a Policeman cant tell the difference between air rifle and a real firearm, why are they in that line of work? Having a cool scope doesnt elevate it to a firearm. At least cops were a lot more open about their pettyness, admitting he was looking for any defect to take mans nice Golf VR6, nevermind the irrelevant bias information "he was later sentence to faud" just to make themselves feel better about seeing a Asian man in a new Golf. The only difference now is they hid their bigotry better and the Asian guys are driving Mk7 Golfs.

Aye, drug dealing's a profitable business.
@curbyourshi10562 жыл бұрын
Air rifles look like real guns to mongs. They're not getting arrested or anything else, it's an investigation. Unfortunately for these goons they flashed their guns for no reason, which immediately allows the police to search the property in England. Turns out they were criminals. Don't show your power level if you're up to dodgy shit.

@@curbyourshi1056 Mate I’ve been searched for eating a burger suspiciously, for having interior light on and for my tail lights not being the right shade of red. I once got threatened to be arrested for having feeler gauge in my glovebox. Thankfully I’ve moved out of the target age range now so I could drive around with a boot full of automatic rifles and they wouldn’t bat an eyelid. Stereotyping is not effective crime fighting technique.
