Thank you for the great video. The only thing I would change is to take the time to melt the ends of the paracord after cutting to length. This will make a more consistent knot as the middle cords will not come out of the ends of the paracord. I do not do social media. My idea of being social is face to face. I’ve given thousands of these crosses away over the years. Many people have offered to pay for them but I do not accept. I was often encouraged to make a video showing how to make this cross. I was certain this knot had to be on the Internet. But, I could not find it after looking every day for three months. So, I gave up and duct taped a cardboard box onto my work board, cut a hole in the top and side of the box, placed my phone on the top of the box and recorded my videos. It is nice to see you making a better video of this knot and how to make this cross. I also like the name you gave it because I’ve had several people comment how the knot looks very Celtic. Have a blessed day. Mr Bill

Thank you so much! We're flattered that you watched our video. Your's is, by far, the best paracord cross design.

Welcome! You could use a lacing needle to lance a different cord through the top of the cross. Here are some examples: www.paracordplanet.com/tools/needles/.

Just did this. Not as easy as you make it look but the finished project was excellent.

It definitely takes a couple of practice ties to make this knot even and flat. Keep it up.

What is the name of the weave?

Mr. Bill calls it a "vertical crown knot". JD Lenzen calls it a "coyote trail."

I’m guessing to make a bigger cross, just make certain to double the bottom number of knots to keep the ratio correct. I’ve done several Solomon Bar crosses, but this definitely has a nice look to it. Thank you.

I assume you can make the cross larger by adding more knots.

That should work! 🪐

Gotta try doing a knife lanyard like this, obviously with a smaller loop though. Thanks for sharing.
