So nice to see people reacting to PL ! I might be biased but they're on my top three metal bands. And of course the best goth metal outfit ever, even when they veered into cold wave/industrial I found it interesting. After all they always expressed their love for Dead Can Dance or Depeche Mode. I really admire them !

I have always found Paradise Lost interesting even when verging into styles I am less fond of. Their last three albums have been a really strong run, starting with The Plague Within (which this stunning song is taken from), Medusa and Obsidian.

The early Paradise Lost is best.Shades of God is pretty good.Highlights ate Joys of the Emptyiness and As I Die Draconian Times is excellent nearly everything is great on thete but their real masterpiece remains Icon everything on it is absolute fire the vocals bass and drumming are crazy the real star though is Gregor McIntosh produces one of the finest guitar performances I have ever heard.Blistering solo after solo on every track ❤

To be honest, I didn't appreciate this song. but I appreciated the song from the latest album “darker through”, I’ve been listening to this masterpiece on repeat for 2 weeks now 🤘 I highly recommend it

For me it sounds more like the early My dying Bride than Paradise Lost. But i Like it very much. 🙂

if you didnt listen to paradise lost back in the day, it is normal you didnt find this song very interesting. But for older dudes, this song is like a flashback.. It is like something that would fit between gothic and shades of god.
