Paradise Valley is a short drive from Agadir and it is a beautiful oasis of Morocco. Hiking in Morocco is a popular activity. From Aourir we head toward Imouzar to explore Paradise Valley of Morocco. On your way you can find many shops selling the specialty of the valley, Moroccan honey, argan oil, amlou, and artisanal plates can be found a long the way. Many cafes offer a spot for Moroccan tea right along the river, or even in it. If you are hungry tajine is available as well as other Moroccan snacks.
The geography of Morocco changes quickly, and we are taken a world away as we hike into the canyons carved by water and the passing of immeasurable time . The geology and rock formations are fascinating, layers upon layers like a mill fleur cake. After all the rain in Morocco, paradise valley was full of water, still brown from the sediment washed away. We find dogs and cats who have adapted to valley life and seem quite happy.
In the end we need to hitchike in Morocco to get back home. The green bus which had taken us there, did not seem to be returning at this hour. Living in Morocco offers a world of exploration. Thank you for coming along on the journey!

Beautiful spot indeed. I think walks imply more level ground activity, whereas hikes imply inclines/more rugged terrain. One being more or less strenuous than the other. Green, zouine - what! No tagine!? At least yall got a ride out of there. Once again, quite reminiscent of our natural environment here. Got me feelin homesick, even though I've never been there. Went for a hike in the local foothills recently. On a good day we can see Catalina Island 60 miles away. Unfortunately the smog in the valley was so bad, we couldnt even see downtown LA 30 miles away 😡. Unzouine! Yall got it good over there. Fulljoy every minute of it. Stay safe & blessed.
