Real life paradox is "popper's paradox of tolerance" Karl Popper describes the paradox as arising from the fact that, in order to maintain a tolerant society, the society must retain the right to be intolerant of intolerance.

This is a good example of a social science paradox, a perceived contradiction. The reality is that there is no true contradiction because being intolerant of someone's intolerance is comparing two different things. The intolerant person's intolerance is about the essence of other human beings. The intolerance of the intolerant person is their behavior. You are not intolerant to them as a person regardless of behavior. This is seen when a former KKK member comes out with their overcoming their intolerance of other humans and they are praised. To truly treat an intolerant person the same would mean to shun them despite their behavior. But this paradox breaks down because then society would not be tolerant, but rather reactionary, copying the intolerant person's behavior.

On Religion What went wrong with humanity that caused them to engage with harmful or delusional forms of religion? •Pursuit of perfection •Escape from wrongdoing •Reaction/fear towards trauma “Wishful thinking” Let’s examine the base motives behind each of these subjects. If a persons goal is to note a communicable persona that represents perfection then they’ve missed a vital aspect of reality. Perfection is nonexistent❤️‍🔥 If a persons goal is to escape their own wrongdoing without having to own up to it then they are creating a mask to cover a complex which naturally fits into an unhealthy or delusional religious structure. Seek medical help❤️‍🩹 If a persons goal is to wish that their favorite superhero is not only real but going to come save them personally then they are likely to pick one of the many characters that humans have created to personify concepts like weather, luck etc. Or characters that represent superhuman abilities in general so as to overcome any situation. This is wishful thinking and not based in reality.💝

The Schrodinger’s cat was never both true and false. It was always one or the other. You just don’t know what the answer is. The only “true” paradox I can think of is “I always lie.”

Gabriel’s Horn is a truly paradoxical object. It’s an abstract mathematical object which cannot exist in reality. Gabriel’s Horn is a three dimensional object of infinite length which has an infinite surface area, but it’s volume is finite. Therefore, it is a paint can which, even when full, doesn’t contain enough paint to full cover it’s exterior surface. For those who are more mathematically inclined. Take the function f(x) = 1/x with domain x >= 1, and rotate this graph around the x-axis thereby forming a hyperbolic surface. At x = 1 there is a circle of radius 1. As we move up the x axis the radius of the (circular) cross-section shrinks logarithmically to 0 as we approach infinity. Using calculus we find that area of the surface of revelation is infinite, whereas the volume of revolution is finite! Also, again paradoxical, this object was discovered before Newton (yes Newton!) discovered The Calculus.

Paradoxes are merely perceived contradictions. They are not true contradictions. Schrodinger's cat is science. I wouldn't call it a paradox so much is an allegory on the perceived paradox (this is overkill as paradox includes perceived) of probability states in quantum mechanics. A quantum paradox would be light behaving as both a particle and a wave. The explanation of this appearance of a contradiction is beyond me. I believe it has to do with the probable state paths of the particle.
