Thank you for this video. I started my classes to work towards a degree as a paralegal. However, recently I’ve reviewed many articles that raise to question wether or not it would be worth it considering. By 2030, they’re expecting AI to improve & take over clerical tasks. Would you suggest a newbie to pursue becoming a paralegal? My background is in admin and Human Resources.

If when you are talking about IA Writer, (Any website that is not fully approved by the high chamber of Attorneys, Judges you name it, cannot be used to share delicate Confidential data). The documents reach 3rd party people!

I wasn't talking about AI Writer, but that is good stuff to know. Have you seen the ChatGPT detectors? I hear college professors are relying heavily on the detectors right now. Thank you Misty for giving me a different perspective on this new technology. And you're right we need to move with time despite how we feel we are living in a new technology world. And this is a hot topic because you and I one day will be faced with it. And it's only a matter of time before it spreads to another work environment in a different form but time waits for no one. So 😂 best to start learning this stuff! 👍🏾 Side question- I have concerns about the preppy program it seems wonderful but I feel that if I enroll with this program vs a longer one then I might be missing information based on the time it takes to complete the program. Misty any thoughts?

As for the Preppy question, I will address that question this week in my Full Disclosure Friday series, which will be all about Preppy program and answering Preppy questions. But in the interim, just remember, longer schooling doesn't equate to becoming a better paralegal. Being a Paralegal equates to being a highly skilled Paralegal. Honestly, I can't tell you how many classes I took over my college career, that I'm still paying for to this day, and the classes did nothing for or towards my career. In my humble opinion, with the rising costs of college, and the demand to close the justice gap, it's time for a more practical approach to becoming a Paralegal. Thanks for watching and commenting. Thank you, Misty, I am currently a senior in California and my university the paralegal program is almost $3,000! Verse 6 months ago it was only $1,000. So I am looking on the side of being practical because I am in my early thirties. I would not only be going into debt I also would be taking off precious time me entering the workforce and just starting my life. I have a true desire to be a paralegal and most importantly I want to help people. So again looking forward to the video!
