Why is the voltage across the 2ohm resistor is equal to the supply pd? What would the voltages be across the 4ohm and 1ohm resistor? Thank you in advance

According to kirchoffs law, the sum of all the voltages around any closed loop in a circuit is zero. So the voltage across the 2 ohm resistor has to be the same as the supplied voltage. In other words, each loop in a parallel circuit had the same voltage as the power supply's voltage.
