Just got offered this video in my feed, have to say very impressed with the video quality, good editing and flow with a good explanation of what's going on without excess unnecessary talking, so well done! Only thing I was missing was seeing the outdoor unit with its canopy installed and finished! Also found the ending a bit abrupt - maybe suggest an outro that has your company info and a thumbnail to your channel and last/other videos - would help someone like me end up down the rabbit hole of more videos.

Hi Jeff, Thanks for watching! I agree, we did end the video quite quickly as as it pouring down with rain so it limited on how / where we could film. The canopy was just a cheap one supplied by the client. Again thanks for watching and taking time to provide feedback!

It’s pathetic isn’t it. Build quality is brilliant but software is pants to get commissioned

@Evorenewables I'm interested to see what the new AIO is like. Currently it's between that and the power wall 3 for me.

The New AIO isn’t out just yet. We’re big fans of the Powerwall 3 as it is great value for money . We would be happy to provide you with a quote if you wanted to drop me an email. Ben@evorenewables.co.uk

Have to admit being a little puzzled by the explanation of the DNO.............. Have they applied a 17kw export limit overall? Doesn't the SolarEdge ac out feed into the GE Gateway so that it remains working in the event of a power outage? In which case why not simply turn down the AIO's export by 0.5kw each or one AIO by 1kw for simplicity sake. Or are you actually saying that they have imposed some sort of import limit? Or something else entirely. I appreciate that you have to work within the rules laid down. But the reality could easily be that a house had 2 or 3 bathrooms each with 10.5kw Electric Showers.

The DNO have authority to limit your onsite capacity and also the export limitation. In this case the onsite capacity was granted at 17kw which is the highest for a single phase installation and they have also imposed a 8kw export limit. The Solaredge inverter is installed from the AIO gateway but all 3 devices have the ability to discharge and export. The gateway is set at 8kw export to comply with the G100 and the Solaredge output was turned down to 5kw to comply with the onsite capacity of 17kw. You’re also right that a house could have multiple electric showers each being 10kw but they also don’t have the ability to export to the grid and change the DNO voltage which is one of the reasons they impose export limitations

@@Evorenewables thanks for the reply and clearing that up. Yeah I knew about the electric shower situation - I was sort of playing devils advocate as it feels like one regulation/rule set is being applied differently. I completely get the export limitation. But from an import perspective if I have a 100A main head fuse then as long as I don't overload that then I should be perfectly fine. The 32A combined load restriction seems ridiculous in the face of a 10.5kw shower requiring a 45A fuse, or an 9.5kw induction hob using a 40A fuse. And yet I need permission from the DNO to install an energy consumer - AC coupled & Battery or even a Heat Pump.
