I think that Will did that DELIBERATELY, very likely he was already cheating on her and wanted her out of the way without a messy and expensive divorce. Well, for her suing him, regardless of if it was right or not, people forget she wouldn't have won the case if there was not a case to be made that she deserved some form of payment. Goading someone into something that resulted in harm, or even death, is something you can sue someone over. If someone is goading you and pressuring you to try to run across a freeway, because they do it all the time, and for whatever reason, you get hurt, despite being the one that choose to try to run across, the person pressuring you into doing it is still at fault if you get injured.

Indifference. It's absolutely his actions which pushed op into NOT opposing him. He even used his hands to guide her into the flip. And he attempted moving her which then she smacked her head on a rock? What expert would do that? His ego led him into telling her he was a "Expert" . Which gave op a sense of false security. If he had been professional he would never have taken her on the last run down a dangerous hill. He would not have left her in his wake, he would NEVER had pushed her into doing a flip. She never would have done so if she had not trusted him. She even questioned his decision if she was able to do so. His Indifference to her well being and his ignorance to her worries point blank makes him responsible. It even screams to me that he may have wanted her to get hurt. I mean he had to know she would be hurt to some degree.

Had she hired a private investigator, I think OP would've learned her husband was cheating *before* the "accident"! He wanted her out of the way: 1) his persistent insistence, 2) skiing at night, 3) skiing recklessly fast, 3) calling her a coward and pressuring her, 4) demanding she do a flip, and 5) tossing her into the air to spin her around! Reckless behavior for 6) a first time skier! I think buying the boots was part of his plan too! Were they ill-fitting? OP doesn't mention other gifts, so I infer they rented skis and poles but not boots

Burdening him what a selfish piece of 💩!! If she's disabled can't she get disability? But still that's not the point he pushed her she trusted her husband Enough to believe that he would not tell her to do something that would get her hurt. And he has the nerve to call her a burden? How would he feel if he was the one who got injured?! People like him make me sick !! When you truly love someone you do not abandon them in their time I need. Love is not just about the good times and the money. Yes she could have said no but she trusted her husband. Luckily karma always Gives people what they deserve. She should have got rid of him when he called her A burden !! As much as he deserves everything that he gets I don't know that a judge would actually agree that it was completely his fault that she got hurt. Because she is a grown woman and she didn't have to do anything you didn't make her do it. Just like he needs to take accountability for his cheating ways. She needs to take accountability for the fact that she made a mistake trusting Him and doing whatever he told her to do!! A gun wasn't held to her head she did not have to do it she chose to do it and as adults we need to take responsibility for our Own actions in life. She obviously wasn't going to leave him for the accident and didn't blame him until She found out he was cheating. So she's in a way not any better than he is. Well this situation is crazy. First off both parties are at minimum partially at fault for the accident - the wife for attempting to do something she was totally unqualified to attempt without the proper training from someone other than the husband and the husbands at fault for even recommending she attempt it I can't rightfully assign a majority of the blame to either party as we only have OPs side of the story and with human tendencies the way they are she is going to ain't herself in the best light possible. Secondarily although we suspect he was "seeking companionship" with other females, we have no proof that there was any physical connection . Yes he is a low life by not taking care of the financial requirement and his method of communicate is horrible

Sounds like op was feeling sorry for herself well op’s husband was getting sacked by the bills and the new medical bills. It seems to me that he let a fire under her ass to get back out there.. I mean I one breath writing became difficult and you were complaining but once husband spoke to her she was right back to work. Wow she’s wants to be a victim

Ok I'm feel dude did this on purpose. Why in the world would he do her like this?! Something isn't right with that man.

I don't know but it sure sounded like he was trying to kill her by a skiing accident. He was just too pushy.

Another BS story. As far a I know there isn't a lot of ski resorts in Alaska and no one goes back country skiing on 2nd day of skiing. And it's not easy as it sounds to just fly to Alaska Good story anyway

An easy way to know if the story is fictional is to check the description. If there is no other credit than Mr Reddito, then he wrote it himself. Every Reddit channel gives credit to whoever posted the story on there. I wish if he was going to do this, he would write a better story, not one filled with plot holes. 🤦🏼‍♀️

I really dislike the fact that OP is taking zero accountability for making the choice to try the flip. At multiple different times, she could have refused to participate, but she continued on. She didn't deserve to be cheated on, no one does. However, she needs to take accountability for her own behavior and quit trying to blame someone else for doing something extremely dangerous. The accident was her fault.

Yeah how stupid was she to trust her husband and the more experienced skier. That's just so dumb.

Right, like wrong accountability. She acts as if she had a gun held to her head. Like she’s never said no to her husband before. It’s so sad that she keeps putting all the blame on someone else. Like lady, just say, “nah, I’m good.” Maybe try just a normal run and jumping the ramp without all the extra steps to warm up at least. But nope, I did something stupid because of per pressure and it’s all my peers fault. WTF victimhood is that.

That her husband CAUSED it, is A CROCK! She has a free will, and she CHOSE to do it. Now he is still a dirtbag for stepping out on her with others, but caused the accident, HORSE HOCKEY!

What about the past where he physically pushed her into a high jump?

She didn’t have to try to do a back flip lol even IF pushed. Like, what kind of idiot wouldn’t first try just going off a ramp normally to get a feel for it first?! Literally no one.

@@jenni9687 as inexperienced as she is and with the added height I doubt she'd have landed safely either way and she could very broken her legs

@@syrusorelio2309 she would have landed just fine. She stated that she is very active. Landing wouldn’t have been an issue. And at the end of the day, IT WAS HER CHOICE!

No, the accident was NOT Will's fault. OP is a grown-up. Old enough to make her own decisions. Any beginner ought to know enough not to attempt such a fancy maneuver after only two days of skiing. However, his stepping out on her in her time of need should be paid for, and it was.

Please edit these stories- they are way too long- its impossible to listen to this one. Way to descriptive and repetitive. Please do something.
