There is no other song in the world I relate to more. 'Caught in the Middle' captures how it feels to be scared of the future and disappointed in the past. Sometimes we spend too much time dreaming about life that we don't actually live in reality.

Mulotong Jamir im 25 and i always go back to listening her old school music they are the best . Her live performance would make me feel an amazing feeling. I dont get that feeling with new rock music. I understand she changed her music. But legends in the past never did that . The beatles, slipknot, system of down, linkin park, queen. Its like the greatest players in sports switching to another sport . It wont fit together. Paramore was blessed to play rock like when she first started thats what she loved to do.
@jadentippeconnie42044 жыл бұрын
@@levirain6011 I disagree with 2 of the things that you said. The only reason she was so good live back then is because she worked her voice so much so her live performances could sound like the songs on her albums. It strained her voice a lot and you could tell. And also, I don't know about the other bands you listed, but I am a hige beatles fan. Their posters cover my room and i have a tattoo of their faces. What the fuck are you talking about😂 They changed their sound, lyrics, style and even genre so much. And I'd like to think it changed music and people's outlook on music for the better.

My two favourite bands have something similar in that they defy being confined to the idea of genre. What stays consistent is the quality of the music and the lyrics, and the sincerity of emotion and message. They started out epitomizing rock, or rap, but have grown, expanded, experimented, and evolved the way they incorporate that root into the kind of music they want to create now. It's the balance of keeping true to both the past and present versions of yourself and allowing yourself to just create. As BTS says, "BTS is the genre," so I agree that "Paramore is the genre."

Over time, This album feels more and more like the self-titled album pt2. I feel as though After Laughter and Self-Titled lie as more focused statements about the band and where they are as individuals. And where the self-titled album dealt in the dreams and fantasies of growing up as a group and a person, After Laughter seems like it deals with finding yourself in maturity and adulthood, and the feelings and thoughts that accompany you as you wander into your old age.

I think it's disturbingly annoying to recognize the fact that the first time I heard this record I thought it was bad for a Paramore record, and took me almost 2 years to hear it over again and realize that it has super simple and catchy songs with AMAZING groove (and 26... nothing less). Thanks Zac!

Paramore is really a great band, they were able to change throught the years, I want to be sincere, I am still in love with the old albums especially with their "Emo" era, I am really linked with that kind of music it was full of emotions.

I can't think of getting old It only makes me want to die And I can't think of who I was 'Cause it just makes me want to cry, cry, cry Can't look back, can't look too far ahead I got the point, I got the message I'm just a little bit caught in the middle I try to keep going but it's not that simple I think I'm a little bit caught in the middle Gotta keep going or they'll call me a quitter Yeah, I'm caught in the middle I was dreaming life away All the while just going blind Can't see the forest for the trees Behind the lids of my own eyes Nostalgia's cool, but it won't help me now A dream is good (don't wear it out) if you don't wear it out And I'm just a little bit caught in the middle I try to keep going but it's not that simple I think I'm a little bit caught in the middle Gotta keep going or they'll call me a quitter Yeah, I'm caught in the middle No, I don't need no help I can sabotage me by myself I don't need no one else I can sabotage me by myself I don't need no help I can sabotage me by myself Don't need no one else I can sabotage me by myself I don't need no help I can sabatoge me by myself Don't need no one else I can sabotage me by myself I don't need no help I can sabatoge me by myself Don't need no one else I can sabotage me by myself And I'm just a little bit caught in the middle I try to keep going but it's not that simple I think I'm a little bit caught in the middle Gotta keep going or they'll call me a quitter Yeah I'm caught in the middle I'm caught in the middle

As much as how weirdly cute and funny (and honestly looks like a part of those surreal memes) this video looks, for some reason I always cry when I watch this. Especially the part where she says "I don't need no help, I can sabotage me by myself." It just hits hard. I love their older sound but I love the poppier side just as much. Thank you so much pmore for after laughter, this album helps me so much whenever I find myself caught in the middle🖤

Hayley is only a year or so younger than I am, and I must say that I love that we’ve grown together. Lyrically, all of the songs have resonated with what I’m going through during each album’s cycle and I’m just so thankful to have had Paramore as musical therapy to cope with all the good and bad!
