Good ideas! Pretty similar to my motorcycle toolkit. I think the gremlins have built a castle out of 10mm sockets...

How about doing a video on In-flight accessories? Stuff that really helps in chair for us beginners.

As a beginner, or frankly, any level of pilot, the answer is "nothing". Anything that distracts your gaze from the world is a compromise to safety. We need our eyes looking out, not down at things. I took off, or hid any screen on any of my units as soon as I realized this. Focus on the glide, the landing, the traffic, your toggle pressures, that is winning!

I would maybe add blue loctite to the essentials list. I'm glad to hear you're getting lots of students! Maybe instead of another instructor you might need to hire someone to do your yard and laundry chores :)

Hey Kyle. What about flying accessories. I have an electric motor - OpenPPG - so none of that 2 stroke maintenance stuff really applies. I have it anyway just because I'm a DIY type of guy. What do you take flying with you besides the motor, wing, and cameras? What do you wear? I do realize the ideal kit will vary according to the local climate and terrain somewhat.

Kyle! You are on to something! You should design, Build and paten a 'Multitool" Designed Just for Paramotors! You'll make Millions! LOL! Who Knows?

The hair is kinda like a mood ring, you just give it 2 minutes and see what it does.

You'll need no such thing. Skills, and good decision making is all that is required to be a great pilot. Contact me if you'd like to discuss this.

All good info to stuff in the brain cavity!! Hey hey! On the subject of 10mm stuff, I actually found a 10mm ratchet wrench today at work!!! =] Your heat shrink trick is a grate idea. If you find that is isnt holding up well the is a heat shrink product by Raychem that is a lot thicker and has a glue in it also. Any electrical supply house should have it in stock. electropower.com.au/products_shrinks.html this is an Aussie site but its global.

"PTKO" - Paramotor (Paraglider) Training from Kyle O'Glee Sounds like a wiener to me! Fun aside .. you're going to need some serious help with your training sessions. i.e. Matt Minyard. Really though .. I would like to be able to order one of the Orange/Black Pharmacy Hats.
