Fantastically entertaining vid, the music was a great addition. The 360 is weird watching you appear to hover in mid air, glad you made it back safe. I agree with your comments about the BHPA, I don’t like to feel forced into joining any club just to be able to fly with friends etc.

@@PARANOOB - Sky demons at play then! I use Windy & XCWeather. They are normally very reliable. However, I wonder with all the lockdown and reduced flights which gathers data has been reduced, perhaps also having a knock-on effect on accurate forecasts?

Beautiful flight. Too bad about the organizational requirements for flight, but at least there's the insurance, so maybe some good'll come of it, then. wouldn't it be cool, to have a ring of LEDs, shining into the wind sock, to light it, during pre-dawn/post-dusk hours? You'd make a killin' selling such an add-on, for wind socks. :)

First leg down-wind... its a risky sport but there is some adventure in cutting it fine :) Would have been nice to see Sean off the ground... he is due an adventure!

BHPA? We have HPAC..So you don't have to have a pilots license like here in Canada to PPG? I have a P2 but need pilot license to fly my electric PPG ! Don't complain dude. Hey! When did you get a beard? wow looks good!

Lockdown beard. Believe me, it's gone the minute we're back to normal! 😆 No licence needed, no insurance etc. Can buy one off Ebay and teach yourself if you want to. That's both good and bad. The BHPA is one of the orgs you can join if you want. Their rules only apply to their members.
