how much vibration when you are up there sitting on it? compare to cellphone vibration in your pocket as your vibration meter or could be jackhummer ( regular construction use)

Your videos have inspired me to get off my ass and go for it. Watched Paramotors fly over my house and always wondered how to get into it. I am going through 'exactly' the same issues as you did in Video 1 and 2 and practicing in sh***y muddy UK fields over winter with a second hand wing (i'd rather trash that than a £3K jobber while practicing). Like youself, I have local Paramotorists training me when they can and I feel its going to be a long haul over winter to get airbone (Yet to get to the 'click' stage of your video 3, but getting there). Hope all is well, its been a while, but I may start documenting my journey as it is very similiar to your experience so far !

Go for it Brian. Thank you for saying these videos helped, that's exactly why I made them. Good luck with your training, and fly safe! :)

Great video and learning experience for uk weather timings. i start my cours EP + CP paramotor in january in Spain. Question: - What are your normal landing speed in a paramotor?
@PARANOOB Жыл бұрын
Completely depends on wing speed and wind speed. A nil wind landing is fast, landing into a 20mph headwind is slow and gentle.

This was an Ozone Speedster 2, technically a C wing, but in fact quite docile, and I was pretty light on it. Your instructor will point you in the right, and safe, direction. 👍

Hi Mate, so when you land a paramotor with engine off do you land into wind like an aircraft? is it the same principle or doesnt it really matter?
@PARANOOB Жыл бұрын
Yes, into wind, so you're slower. You can land downwind if you're happy to run like hell. 👍

So I stumbled across you're channel last week and have been slowly working my way through your videos. I used to fly paragliders back in the early 00's, spent some time therafter doing my ATPL and I'm planning on taking up paramotoring in the near future. I was really excited to hear about you're RAFA40 flights and especially when I heard about Halton and your links there. I have been involved with the RAFAC for 25 years now and back in 2018/19/20 taught radio comms for the Region at Halton. So I was really chuffed to see a really familiar old face in this video! Please say hello to your Dad from me, I havent seen him since COVID, and I hope he's still sailing and enjoying radio! Hopefully we can fly together one day and meet the OM for a beer. 73's!!!! James

Good to see you up in the air Noob. When it's been a while since I've flown I find that a quick 'mental launch'' just before I check my center sets me up for a full commited launch and gets rid of the trepidation from being a little rusty. After 23 years I still have mornings like yours. Good flying..

And good job in dealing with it a good few tugs on the outer stab line usually gets em out

Hi buddy that's why I don't like forward launching I've got the reverse spot on even in very light wind I like to know what going on above me hahahope to see you at one of the meets soon
@iKenFlyPPG Жыл бұрын
NGK sells solid cap versions of these plugs which is a far superior conductor than aluminum. If you must use the threaded type, use red loctite. It'll ruin the plug wire boot connector, this is why you must remove the risk.
