Don't you just hate when the wind takes the Piss. We have sat on a side of a hill for hours with our paragliders because the wind can't make it's mind up what way it wants to blow. Picking up my 1st paramotor in the next few weeks... so looking forward to it.

Para, please tell me what type motor & horsepower you were using here. I've got an old SOLO 210 & no way I can pull start it while on my back. Couldn't believe how easy you pulled! Yeah Para! We're sticking with you! You're the Bond, James Bond...of Paramotoring. Those shades do it!

It's a Bailey V5S on a Parajet V2 frame. 210cc, not sure on horses. And thank you! 👍🏻❤
@billcallahan93035 жыл бұрын
@@PARANOOB Thanks Para! Putting that note on my list. My SOLO 210 is also 210cc but it's like pulling a steel bar from concrete or Thor's hammer without Thor. I had a "hydraulic lockout" yesterday. I'd left the fuel on (Fresh Breeze - gravity fed). Thought I'd frozen the piston. Fuel had leaked into the cylinder. Pulled the plug, gobs of fuel poured out. No reply needed. Just have time on my hands this morning in blazingly hot Florida. Take care!
@billcallahan93035 жыл бұрын
Para, got an idea for a training video you might like to do. Consider one for proper procedures & positioning of throttle, toggles & A lines for Forward & Reverse takeoffs. Also, give close-ups of those positions & any other commentary you can think of such as what can happen if things are not positioned properly. Another, what do you think of letting the toggles slide down onto your wrists instead of holding them in your hands (especially with the hand that has to hold the throttle too). I am self taught & instruction like this could've saved me a ton of trouble...like two busted props, a bent cage & bruised ribs. Just an idea...thanks!
@PARANOOB5 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the suggestions Bill, but this isn't a training channel.. it's me learning. I'm very careful to not teach, and to not encourage self-training. 👍🏻
@billcallahan93035 жыл бұрын
@@PARANOOB I kinda' figured you'd say that Para just judging by all you've done in the past - no real training in any of it. I've paid a price for my self training. Thanks anyway! Keep up the great work! Florida USA.

What's going on with the lines at 5:30 is that not why you are struggling with the launch, surely they shouldn't be that twisted?
@PARANOOB5 жыл бұрын
It's just the riser turned over. Struggles are due to not enough wind for a reverse. 👍🏻
