I would agree! Levitate head is great. Smart design and lighter than ball head. Will use the Levitate head more because of weight and easy use.

Gary sir little tec tip if you take a primos trigger stick under the butt stock the stability is way better stops the butt from dropping and just tracks straight back

I've had the two section elevate tripod and the Invert60 ball head in my shopping cart on Paramount Tactical for several weeks. Now, I deleted the Invert60 ball head and added the Levitate Level Head. Thank you for your videos.

Well, this looks like an excellent system. I'm very new to this and starting to look at the tripod options out there. I'm wanting to learn PRS and start trying a few matches as I can. I have a BOG currently that I got before I built my rifle. Now I'm seeing that it is not stable enough for the longer distances with the clamp system and not super smooth adjustments. Works for now while I'm learning, but winning this would be an awesome upgrade!! I like it!! Thanks for showing it all off!

I use the ballhead in its all the way forward leave the legs fully extended when walking to my coyote sets. Puts the butt of the gun off my back and puts the muzzle out of the way in a safe direction. That way when I swing it down from my shoulder the gun is pointing down in a safe direction.

Great info Gary! Just wonder, why not use a Gimbal Head to avoid all that wobble of a ball head? Gimbals allow photographers with heavy camera lenses to follow birds in flight much better than ball heads do, since they allow smoother and faster 3 axle adjustments.

I have several different gimbals myself. DJI ronin S3, the original and one for a cell phone. I used the S3 for several of the B roll shots in this video. Currently the gimbal heads that could hold a rifle don’t work well for that application. When they come out with one that has motors and can stabilize a 20lbs rifle like they do a camera, I’m sure I’m be all in. Thanks,

I am not talking about the small Gimbals for video and phones but about the ones that carry 25lbs telephoto lenses and middle format cameras. Sure they cost a bit and start at about $ 1000 but they can do the job better than any ball head. A full size camera with 600/4 lens and motor drive weighs at least 8-10 kilograms too. I could not ever get photo shots of birds in flight with my old Manfrotto ball head but I can with a Mongoose Gimbal nowadays. Guess we all live and learn. @@paramounttactical
