The paraset is tough to tune without padding the variable, so it spreads 80m and 40m bands out more.

Hi, I modified this to the extent that it only goes 40 meters. From about 6900 kHz to 7300, it works much better. Maybe I'll make it switchable so that it has 80 meters as well. The original paraset with the 100 pf capacitor receives a very wide frequency and is difficult to handle.

Расскажите про конструктив, как делали. QSO не проводили? 73! de R1CBD

Hello! I didn't design it, it's a WWII spy radio replica, it's called "paraset" on the internet, search for everything available. But as I wrote here, it's only half finished, I'll slowly be completely ready with it, then I'll make a new video. So far, there is no QSO with him, but I tested it on websdr on 40 meters at night, yesterday I heard myself on Novosibirsk websdr, which is 4300km as the crow flies and with an output power of around five watts is not bad. My antenna is just a 20m "long wire"

73! de R1CBD.

@@Dromidont Thank you, I only modified it so that it works from 6900 kHz to about 7300. The original "paraset" goes from 3.5 mHz to about 8, in one band, with a piece of 100pf rotary capacitor, it is very, very difficult to use the original version. I want to make it a band switch, it can be switched between 40/80 meters, maybe even 60 meters if it's included.

@@Sanyesz855 Да, 80 и 40 метров растянутые будет самое то. Еще раз успехов!

Hi, the output power at 50 ohms is 4-5 watts, so far I've only tested it on websdr, I heard about 2-3000 km.
