Hey Man, nice video! Don't know if you didn't knew or skipped it because of the speedrun, but at arround 14:20 when u pick the grenade pistol at the fountain, you can turn 180 degrees an walk into the bushes by checking them... Aya will say "This is the only tree with red leaves" and walk thru, there is a protein capsule and an ammo box there. I've discovered it last year only, after 24 years of launch and 20+ playthrough lol

yes :D a very well hidden protein capsule. I used to pick it up on my 1st runs to be able to survive GOLEM hits in dryfield that usually one shot you, but as my time got better I started to skip it.

enjoyed watching this. Just played nightmare a few months ago to 100% on RetroAchievements, so I know how hard it can be. Question, why do you do the Pierce fetch quest? How much time save does it give you getting those items, as opposed to skipping them?

thanks :D the pierce quest takes like 5mins but the ofuda more than makes up for it with the 50% magic bump. Fire PEs that would usually take two casts(like pyros on bog divers and infernos on beetled) now only take one. This has a snowball effect of making mp management much easier and requiring us to get/use fewer lipsticks and mp boosts through the rest of the run

Never played Parasite Eve 2 back then, and I think I missed it out a lot. 😬 Everyone speaks damn good about this game. But I loved PE1 RPG style. Could you tell me which elements of PE1 were kept on this game? Or is it all different?

Only the magics i believe haha, PE1 And PE2 are really different. It's like comparing God of war 1 and God of war (2018), same game, same universe but different gameplay.

Yup, when I started PE2. I didn’t like that PE2 do not follow PE1 style.

Excellent speed run with 100% clear rate. I m a PE fan from HK, recently playing PE2 again, aiming to unlock support less mode first …but how can I earn enough experience to unlock that😢

if you already unlocked bounty you'll get suportless afterwards I think. In any case 69000 exp is not too hard, you can still use exp to unlock magic, that won't impact the exp the game considers that you obtained

@@nocturne3190 I think the game has 13 ranks that give you different items, by the 14th time you beat the game you should have an EXP bonus instead of new items you can buy in replay mode.

It's so funny, when i first got this game i hated it because i guess i was expecting the first game but new, and the tank controls i hated so much...and then once i figured out how to play and got the story rolling i fell in love again, been playing on and off all these years and just the other day for the first time in my life i finally got insta killed by no9 on the roof 😂😭 as for getting eaten by glutton, got that one out of the way long ago, and thus far have never let flint die 🤞

Aren't Brahman parts considered for a final score? You get more point after defeating them, but in your case his head remained.

Yes you can get extra final bp with some things I didn't kill, like mad chasers on glutton, the golem before brahman, the additional body parts and up to 10 eve clones, but the speedrun category only requires 100% on phone, so doing those things would be time loss :)

é um glitch pra multiplicar o dano do javelin por 5 mais ou menos :) funciona em todas as versões do jogo.

I think if this game was recycled, if it was done in the third perspective, it would be finished faster, but this makes the fun of playing less entertaining. I think the installed camera system is a good thing in remake with improved graphics With the addition of some stages to increase the fun, for example, there will be an additional stage after the hotel stage, for example in a hospital or a shopping mall

I would still be interested in some sort of remake/remaster with a different camera and control system but they would have to change a lot to match the original creepy unnerving atmosphere, not always being able to see whatever weirdos are around reacting to you and having to remember the sounds they make to compensate. If they kept the same camera control system i think i would be more excited, they could add the quick 180 (down+X) from resident evil 3 (maybe even the quick dodge i dunno) and it would be a little less clumsy without ruining the scary feeling of navigating a series of fixed camera angles possibly full of stealth monkeys you can't always see even when they're in camera (and immune to necrosis) They could probably get 20+ more hours just from expanding on the path to akropolis tower, then dryfield, then the shelter...holy crap imagine how much they could add to neo ark, and these crazies having an even bigger underground zoo of abominations would just make it even more intense Seriously even a simple remaster with a few quality of life improvements and guns would be cheap and basically print money
