Was even "my" narc who broke up. But when I accepted their decision (and slowly started realising), I "abandoned" them. Same logic when they later yelled insults, but I didn't react, so I "emotionally abused" them.

I don't think you know you are with a narcissist, I didn't for sure until things got too bad and I kick him out, I feared for my life for a long time after I did that.

My therapist continuously reinforced what she should have recognized as abuse to me, exploitation of me. I was naive enough to believe there was potential for the narcissist to heal. Both the therapist and the narcissist betrayed me, and I and my children have nearly been killed. So complex what they arranged to make happen to us. So vicious. So merciless. So cruel.😂
