Bw simply added a beat and shoved it into their commercial films. For us, qawwali is as much alive as we are, it doesn't have to be preserved. For us, it's rich and it's culture is thriving among the Pakistanis. We've got whole events dedicated to qawwali night. It's tradition and you're saying bollywood is preserving it.
