Ai was 16 when she was in the hospital, so she was prob 15 when she got pregnant. aqua and ruby went into high school, when they turned 16. so middle school can be anywhere up to 15. therefore the father "middleschooler" would just be 1-2 years younger than Ai. it is still wild that 2 kids did the deed and the girl got pregnant from it. also I don't think anyone will ever pirce it together, that Aqua and/or Ruby are reincarnated unless they tell someone. because why would you ever come to such a conclusion? since both twins told akane, that they hold some memory to this place, she will just assume, that they spend some time here after they where born and the murdered doctor became some kind of friend for young aqua. this is a much more logical conclusion than "yeah the doctor totaly reincarnated into aqua" PS: damn you can't say anything positive if you got a daughter, right? Loop hole explain Akane edition: -Aqua assumes that Taiki's father is the biological father who cheated on Airi with Ai, but neglect the possibility that Airi could have cheated on her husband with the actual biological father which also mean Taiki doesn't know the truth himself. And as we see from this episode, Airi is the one who cheated and not her husband. Loophole for what we should know: ‐Taiki is 20, the twins are 16 turning 17 soon. Taiki was 5 when his parents died. Ai was murdered when the twins were 3 turning 4 as Ai just turn 20. From this alone that means the father should have beem dead when the twins were 2, but then how would Ai contacted their father days before her murder. Remember she gave him the address in which turn, Ryosuke (the stalker) found her home. So many people didn't catch that and it is golden.

Them being about lies is a pretty easily disproven theory. If you're questioning Ai sleeping with the father (she was 20 weeks along and 16 herself remember) when he was 15/16 (the oldest a middle schooler can be). How about the ADULT ACTRESS (Taikis mother) sleeping with an 11/12 year old? Taiki just turned 20, Aqua and Ruby are 16 about to turn 17, in fact in the outro, they are 17. Ai and the father were both underage/barely of age, but Taikis mother was literally grooming the boy. That's just going off everything we know to this point by the way so not spoilers, assuming we're going with the middle schooler as the father. The theme of the anime as a whole seems to be generational trauma passed down through the entertainment industry.

If you havent realized yet in regards to the "middle school aged boy"... In Japan, middle school age is something like 12-15, and Ai was 16 when she had her first appointment with Dr. Gorou (Aqua before death). I don't think it was ever brought up, but Ai could've potentially conceived the twins when she was 15, since she didn't have her appointment until around 20 weeks into the pregnancy, and she was still 16 when the twins were born. So it actually was the dad. But that just makes it even weirder when you think about Himekawa Taiki... He's 4 years older than Aqua, so that means, best case scenario, Taiki was born when his dad would've been around 11 years old. (Not a manga reader, so this is mostly just speculation on my part, and I could be wrong, but it seems like the most logical possibilities).

I don't buy into the murderer reincarnation theory, but an additional point to the whole reincarnation thing is that it seems like you don't necessarily have to reincarnate immediately or soon upon dying. We can see this being the case with Sarina who reincarnated as Ruby at the same time as sensei reincarnated as Aqua although they died at very different times.

There is a psycologist that makes great reactions of this anime, he says that although Aqua has his past memories, theoretically from what we know of brain development, his mental age is the same as his body, so saying that he should be more mature than the rest isn't exactly right. Of course I can't explain it as good as him, but my point is that we should stop judging him as a 40ish year old the psycologist chanell is Psyculturists, I highly recommend it, his videos are wayyyy long, but very insightful 5:04:10 yeah, we all just assumed that Ai was groomed, but remember, he didn't became a first time dad at 15-16 like Ai, he has a son 4 years older, the implications of that truly disgust me 5:42:47 based on how he looks and how much time has passed I'd guess the dad is the middle school kid 5:46:21 where was Ruby for 12 years that Aqua went deeper into depression? Aqua doesn't have the same personality as Gorou. He's way more cynical and closed off. That's why Ruby said Kana is the only one who brings out the old him. But as far as Ruby and him goes, Aqua isn't a doctor doting on a patient and Ruby isn't a cancer patient needing someone to rely on so they aren't necessarily going to fall into the same dynamic especially when neither knows the truth of the other's presence.

[Oshi no Ko] is NOT an Isekai. Isekai just means 'another world'. Any story with a human from Earth being transported to some kind of fantasy world is an Isekai. A lot of them use reincarnation to get them there, but that is not a prerequisite. The Wizard of Oz is an Isekai, but Dorothy didn't need to die to go on that adventure.

Aqua's entire premise at the end of season one was that Akane understands Ai better than he does. For that reason, he entered into a fake relationship with her, to use her to learn more about Ai, and thus possibly find out who his father might be. Aqua flat out explains his intention when he brought Akane around with him while asking around about Gorou Amamiya. But if that isn't enough for you, this is a situation where intention matters more than results/ actions. His entire premise was to keep Akane around to use her intellect. It didn't matter if he did anything overt to actually "use" her or not. The fact that he kept her in that business relationship for months after the end of the reality dating show with no romantic progression is already enough to say that Aqua used Akane. It didn't matter that there wasn't any obvious tangible benefit he's gotten from Akane during this time.

Aqua's guilt stems from his intention to use Akane, not from actually using her. 1) At the end of the Tokyo Blade play, Aqua ends up doing several DNA tests that end up leading him to discover that Taiki is his half-brother and that his supposed "father" is already dead. But that's something he did and accomplished on his own, without using Akane. 2) Akane and Ruby find Gorou's corpse because the crow led them to it. But that's something Aqua doesn't know. So he can only assume it was thanks to Akane and the information he gave her. Even though that "information" was not useful at all. Aqua told Akane about Gorou's feelings and dreams: his relationship with his grandparents, and his desire to be a surgeon. None of that is relevant to the search for a corpse. Especially when Aqua didn't even tell Akane that the person he was looking for was already dead. Still, Aqua feels so guilty that Akane had to see Gorou's corpse that he still apologizes to her for it, even when he didn't make it happen.

The first season was already very good, but this one managed to surpass it for me. I'm going to spend good 6 hours.

It wouldn't make sense for the dad to be responsible for Ai's murder, which was indirect, and to be the killer in a murder-suicide (which is direct). There's too much of a conflict of character between a puppeteer and someone who'd willingly die and just take another person down with them. There's a cold calculation to one and an erratic passion to the other

I was super worried s02 would be outshone by the first season, but it did very well in keeping up with the hype. I'm much more comfortable waiting for season 3, but still...Its hard stopping myself from reading the manga to figure out what's happening. lol
