Parents who regret having kids: DONT BE LIKE ME!!

I was staunchly against dating men with kids for the sole reason that I would never be a priority in his life. The kids would always come before me and so would the mothers. I dated a dude with kids once to test the theory and as I expected, my needs were the last on his list and I couldn't tolerate it. Also, I am not ever going to ask a parent to not be there for their kid, so I ended the relationship and got the confirmation that I need that no matter the age of the child, I can't date - much less marry- a man with kids. Won't do it. From my experience, man automatically see a woman as a default babysitter if he can't take care of his kid. Home girl needs some self awareness and leave the situation. Eventually, the husband is going to resent her weird behavior and leave her. Cut your losses now and go be CF with another CF person.

Also, if the bio mom were to pass away, the dad will get sole custody so that means the child will live with them 24/7 🤷🏾‍♀️

Her situation clearly isn’t going to improve. Prior to marrying, I think she should’ve truly been honest with herself about what she’s able to deal with. I’m surprised the husband and child’s mom tolerates her behavior.

Certainly agree she should get out, but the part where she doesn’t interact with the child while I get that would bother some people I don’t think that means the child just sits there. After all it is the father’s responsibility to interact with his child. Similar to how if he were not living with her, it would be fully on him. She needs to own up that it’s not for her and leave.
