So glad you did this! I only heard about the catacombs for the first time this year, i couldn’t believe it existed, it’s like straight out of a book! Hope to visit one day

Bonjour Gabrielle! It reminded me of the scene in Les Misérables what Jean Valjean rescues Marius from the barricade and escapes!

Hi bonjour ! Oh, that's a great reference! The catacombs definitely have that same dramatic, underground vibe like in Les Misérables. It's easy to imagine Jean Valjean navigating those tunnels to escape danger. an iconic scene! 😊

@FrenchWithElle c' est sympa de votre part ( c-à-d. votre réponse). après 48 heures de pluie et un trajet (d' avion ✈️ ) important, j' ai bcp marché sous la villa de lumière en pleine journée - au début de l' été. 💀 💀 💀 💀 💀 💀
