Paris Fashion week avec the Boys | The Science of Living EP 18

Growing up Fashion week always felt out of touch and out of sight, hidden behind a curtain and only accessible for the few. So I figured now was time to pull back the curtain and show the reality of what fashion week is really like or can be. In hind sight I wish I would above been able to vlog my first ever Paris Fashion week, I stayed at a crazy cat ladys an hour outside of Paris, and was desperately hoping to get an invite to anything. This time is perhaps a little different, half way across the world in New Orleans was nervously waiting to find out if Balmain would confirm me for their show. And with a last minute confirmation I booked my flights and to Paris I headed. Initially I was due to stay in an airbnb with Kit Price and Calum Harper, but a missed email meant Balmain were actually putting me up, and the rest is history.
Hopefully next time I will be walking but who knows
In this video I discuss, what Paris Fashion week is like, What the differences are between a fitting, a presentation, a runway, a gifting suite, and a show. I also discuss what models eat, The harsh reality of being a model in these shows. How attending a show works, and how to attend a show at Paris fashion week. The ridiculousness of celebrity culture, meeting cards B, how seating at fashion week works, what models wear. And much much more.
I hope you enjoy this video as much as I do, it was a real "career" milestone so thank you for sharing the moment with me :)

Bravo. I will hit all the fashion weeks again in February. My fragrance for 25 years has been John Paul Gaultier. To this day. I still get massive compliments and people come up to me and say how they remember that sent. Last year I added Versace to the mix. Awesome you can wear more feminine fragrance and colorful clothes now. I have always done so, however was persecuted at your age for doing so. Can’t wait to get back to London next week.
