I’ve returned to watch your videos from the start. I love the staircase in the music school at Cafe de la Gare as well as the background music ❤️

Yes that was lovely wasn’t it? I’ve been lucky over the years to come across unexpected soundtracks, especially in churches. It always adds so much to the experience. Paris is magic in that way!

Wow Corey!! You show us places most travelers will never see. Amazing old steps to the attic and the graceful metal railing were SO GOOD!! Paris as it was. ..😁❤🌷

Yes! I’m glad you enjoyed that part; it’s always been a favorite spot of mine and I still remember the excitement of first having discovered it. The major perk of my job is I get to help create that feeling for others. Thanks so much for the comment!

Thank you so much for going on Rue du Temple and going into Centre de Danse du Marais. It is a marvelous place in the center of Paris. It brings me back to wonderful time at that place.

I just love these videos! And as if Paris wasn't marvelous enough already - croque monsieur on a waffle. The wonders just never end.

Try Croque Madame - that one gives you a fried egg on the top of the sandwich.

I LOVE the fact that he's like me, and finds the old historic spots, like that old staircase, and the small courtyard, the most wonderful and fascinating. I don't like the other guides on youtube who are walking around Paris, and I can see a snip of something very old that they walk past, but they don't stop to have a look, because they have no interest, because 'old Paris' is something they don't care about.

Thank you for those kind words. I’m glad we’re on the same page when it comes to the beautiful little details and hidden spaces. Have a nice day and thanks for watching.

Oh Corey! You did yourself proud with that in-depth tour of the Le Gare courtyard. I'll let everyone into a secret about being video'd while you are there. Just above the main entrance on the courtyard side are security cameras. Anyone can watch what's going on by Googling them. In the days (about 10 years ago) before FaceTime on one's iPhone, we wanted our family to see us in Paris - So, we made a time for them to watch the cameras and we stood in the courtyard and waved while talking to them on the old cellphone. Your tour brought me right back to that precious day - Thank you so much!

What a lovely memory! I didn’t know about the camera situation, I’ll look into that. I’m so glad you enjoyed this one. I’ve loved that little courtyard for so long.

great great stuff, new viewer here. i found this channel by searching charonne, which is near where i stayed last year. it's funny how you say "if i'm not mistaken" in some of these vids, makes me think of that pedantic character in "midnight in paris" as he likes to use that expression...

Thank you for this! I’m going to paris in six weeks. Looking forward to it so much, and this vlog really helps. Can’t you make a vlog with a walk from Hotel Lancaster?☺️

Hi, You are serving a perfect niche... just a simple walk around parts of Paris... allowing the city and it’s beauty to be the simple subject, you have an eye for simple beauty , a profound method. Your historical commentary is great with the footage. Don’t change the walks! They are so good! And quite long, better than the typical 8 minute youtube clip. Might you please provide a link to how you walk a live stream, what equipment do you use, what software, how do you walk and talk while keeping track of live comments without tripping? 😅Do you have some kind of digital visor? These walks capture the essence of walking in Paris brilliantly when one can’t be there! I like the fact the live streams are stored for later viewing. Also, I’ve discovered new parts of Paris I didn’t know beforehand. Great work! Bravo! Subscribed. ✅

Thanks for the amazing good vibes! I’m so glad you’re enjoying this series and I hope you can spread the word. My setup is made up of my phone + a gimbal stabilizer + an external lapel mic + FB Live, where I can view the comments on my screen as they come up. Hope that helps! Have a great day and happy Paris dreaming 👍🏻

Thanks, Corey...wonderful tour! So, when you got to the corner of Rue Saint-Merri, it reminded me of the little hotel right there called the Hotel Saint-Merri, in which the flying buttresses of the church of Saint Merri down the block extend out and serve as the canopies for the beds in some of the rooms...Maybe just a few of the rooms, for what I can recall. Even more secret treasures in this neighborhood, too.

Thx Corey. Your vids are wonderful! I found you recently. I referred a friend to you just last week as she was in Paris. I’m not sure if she followed up. I’ll speak with her soon. Will your LIVES continue on Facebook? I’m not a subscriber to FB. I’m planning (hoping) to support your wonderful work/project. Great luck and happiness moving forward. (Chicago)

Hi Nancy I really appreciate your comment and I’m so glad you’re enjoying these episodes! Your question is a valid one and I know others would like to see me live-streaming on other platforms. I’m considering ways to make that happen and I hope to experiment soon with streaming to other platforms like KZbin and/or Instagram. Have a great day!

How are you able to read comments while you're recording video and walking?
@afrenchfryeinparis5 жыл бұрын
Hi there, these videos are originally live-streamed on Facebook so I see the comments come up as live viewers type them. I can’t keep track of the entire conversation while filming but I try to have a glance when I can! Thanks a lot for watching I appreciate it.
