Would have been great to see Nils on the podium but getting there with two sprinting beasts left him with no realistic chance. Going early like he did just provided a nice lead out for the sprinters and going late would have left him in the dust as well. 4th after a podium in Flanders is still amazing though!

He played his cards but it was not to be. Competing at the finish line against two of the best sprinters did not give him a chance for a podium...
