@@___whateverr You are clueless. You have no idea what AAS even do if you think that! They allow you to eat more (increasing protein synthesis), and recover faster. When you add that to an on point diet, correct sleep hygiene, and the right training regimine you can achieve excellent results! Suggesting that the training portion of that isn't required just proves you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. Feel free to prove me wrong however. Go out and get yourself a boatload of gear, do your daily injections and just sit around on the couch, or do a craptastic few minutes/ day of training and see how far you get lol. Incredibly well informed and well presented video. You hit on all the important facts, and really covered how Sly attained this seemingly impossible physique, in the time he was provided. For anyone watching this video in 2022, you will not find real Anavar, and you certainly won’t be doing said Anavar under an MD’s supervision. But you definitely can have Stallone’s Rambo 3 physique without steroids. Patience and continuous progress is what it takes. Stallone is a beast and very dedicated. He trained regularly year round so he never really needed to do any sort of major transformation. But he really kicked it up a notch for the 8 to 12 weeks before a film role where he had to have his shirt off. He would even hire pro bodybuilding legends like Franco Columbo per the video to help him mold the type of physique he wanted. But most importantly, he was super strict with his nutrition during a period of training for a film. He even admitted he went too far at times like with Rocky 3 when he wanted to look ridiculously lean and cut.

I absolutely LOVED his physique in R 2 1985 : Arnold was also popular then but to me his physique just yelled "bodybuilder" ie huge bulging muscles. Sly in R 2 was nothing like that , immensely muscular yet not bulging , nothing like a bodybuilder but more like a heavyweight boxer (Tyson, Bruno ...) I wanted to look like that , but at that young age would not have realised what would go into it and even if you trained the same way your genetics may mean you would never gain that "look" . (in R 3 he was similar but "bigger") . in 2022 from what I've read, attaining and keeping this kind of physique indefinitely barely qualifies as "healthy" .
@Joe-tm2qp2 жыл бұрын
Not close to a heavyweight boxer physique. Tyson was at least 50 lbs heavier than Stallone’s Rambo 2 body weight. Also, real fighters or any athlete for that matter, could never perform at extremely low body fat. His look for Rocky 1 and 2 is far more realistic for a boxer
@Simpleburger19682 жыл бұрын

Will you people stop it with the HGH and size comments, thats not even close to what HGH is used for in this. No matter what you do make sure you do sets of push-ups until failure every night you are not sore. The real secret is to not give up and consistency. Obviously any consistent gym workouts will be better than your sedentary office job routine. People underestimate calisthenics and think you can’t get strong but surprisingly if you look at prisoners, they are not allowed weights. So they improvise with body weight excercises. These guys end up getting huge, because they have nothing else to do. Like they will do many many sets of 10 or 20 pushups throughout the day. After a while your body adapts really fast and they can do hundreds of pushups a day. I spent a year straight only doing gym bro workouts for a year, twice a week and made amazing progress, also making sure I ate at least .08 grams of protein per day per pound of body weight, got sleeping meds so I can sleep (you will not grow unless you train harder than last time, eat enough or eat correctly and sleep enough) but started to make way better progress and didn’t plateau any more once I started incorporating pushups and pull ups every day. I was too skinny at six foot three, and ended up gaining about 40 pounds and most of it muscle. No steroids. And anyone who saw me was surprised. Also I’ve seen guys who don’t workout on KZbin gain an INCH on their arms in a month by doing 100 pushups a day and then moving it to 200 pushups after that month. Gotta take rest days in between though. Subscribe to as many gym and excercise related channels to gain knowledge and figure out what works. But it’s all about pushing yourself to get to the gym or just at least get on the ground and do push-ups. It’s all about hypertrophy

Your assessment isn't correct. The book series First Blood originally written by David Morrell was only a basis for the movie series. In which all the screenplays were co-written and co-directed by Sylvester Stallone himself there was never any other actors that were considered for the part and it was indeed Sylvester Stallone himself who felt that he needed to gain more weight there was never a fear of him being replaced by a different actor, it was because other big time actors coming on the scene likes Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jean-Claude Van Damme were all clearly much larger with cleaner physiques because they bodybuild. So Sylvester Stallone's drive to put on the muscle was to be more astetically pleasing for his viewer's and compete with the other action stars coming on the scene.
