Have been wearing red lipstick 💄 since my twenties ,am now 65. I had Paloma Picasso red in the eighties! Today Chanel, have been wearing different shades of this red for years now. Love from the Netherlands 🇳🇱.

Red lipstick is much easier when you're younger. When you get older, it bleeds much more easily, and matte formulations can look harsh. I have to wear blue reds anyway because of my complexion, but I've found that as I age, a creamier, cranberry red (with an uncolored lip liner pencil) is more flattering and forgiving. A bright red lip makes me look literally insane. It's too much. I wish I could, though...
