Hi Ben Good stuff as always! Just to say I really like it when you insert some of the photos taken during the vlogs. This doesn't happen very often sadly. I think it would be really cool for us to see what photos you produce during your adventures(not only a few on Insta). For example when you were in the helicopter saving the rhinos you showed us some of your shots(that was awesome)...So for instance for this vlog you could have shown us some of the closeups shot at parklife... Anyway just an Idea and keep the good stuff flowing. Cheers

Before this year I never really watched vlogs too much because I didn't really have the attention span to just sit and watch a video that was longer than 5 minutes. (I still struggle a bit but instead of completely exiting the video, I tend to do something on the side- whether it's like painting or knitting haha). But I really like listening to you talk and seeing what you're up to. You have such a chill vibe and it's kind of relaxing to me (I don't know if that sounds weird/makes sense)! Just wanted to say that!

I watched Casey's draw my life video earlier too. You and and Casey's time lapse have really got me into wanting to do photography so for my 21st i'm going to get myself a DSLR (Probably just a 700D or something for now) I'm glad you said its okay to 'copy' someone's style to start, because I'd love to get images similar to the both of you, then I can work on developing my own unique style. On the upside we got to see Park Life 1 from backstage & other vantage points we wouldn't have, even if we'd been there. On the downside (sort of), I never heard much of any recognizable song from Jeremy or anyone else. I guess that wasn't the point. It was more about the scene. And yeah, we want to see Park Life return next year, for sure! The packed, indoor concert that was just Jeremy & his band felt a lot more like a concert & a happening thing! You really captured the vibe on that one. That was amazing! Park Life 1 was more laid back. So I guess I'm a fan who's now spoiled rotten. If a concert video is good, I complain that it wasn't as amazing as a previous one. Looking forward now to Park Life 2 in Johannesburg. Thanks!

MagicHarps consider UCT dude, I went there and loved it. Every year there are tons of international students that come through. Stellenbosch is also very cool but you might struggle with the Afrikaans.

Hey Ben, can you challenge yourself a little more. I feel like these music festivals are getting a bit redundant. Its like you are turning into a videographer rather than a film maker. Its important to look for the unique and interesting stories of where you live. You can do this in your daily vlog and actually tell different stories and maybe set aside different days for doing different things. I think this redundancy is bc you have the same circle of friends who are all alike and carbon copies of each other. Maybe get some non film friends. I feel like they would expand your horizon and bring some something new fresh and interesting to your content. Aside from your dialy vlogging you haven't produced or put out a film in a long time. Maybe a film a month or 2 films in a month. This will also make a you a better story teller and help you to grow. I really think if you interact with other Cape Town'ers who are not like you (into surfing, hipster stuff) you could tell something unique and refreshing. You are in Africa after all. Dont waste the opportunity.
