My grandfather was a caretaker as and mill operator at Mansfield for a few years. He also graduated from Mecca H.S. I rode a school bus thru several covered bridges every day going to school in adjacent Putnam county. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the bridge tour Mike and Steph! Such a great video! That is certainly a tour that we would do. We also love covered bridges. Oregon, where we are from, has many many covered bridges as well. Probably not as many as Parke County. We certainly need to visit so we can see those cute towns and shops. Mike, I’m with you...I get nervous driving our truck over a 150 year old covered bridge too.
