@Ynehc If you had a chance to buy one for $400, I hope you snatched it up! No question that it is worth considerably more. I have a lower-end Parker (PM20) that I bought new for $330 and I absolutely love it! I have 5 electrics of various types, but the Parker is my favorite for both playability and tone.

1:41 i think that this sound alone should be more than enough. As the player says very very convincing. And so much more full of harmonics compared to the magnetic sound. So much more beautiful. My point is that the only big drawback with real acoustic and semiacoustic guitar when amplified is possible Larsen effects. The solid body construction should help to tame this. It would be interesting to hear this acoustic sound with added distortion. I bet it would be amazing. Great concept the solid body with piezo pickup

These were really excellent guitars. Good point!

It is a ratio in the gears in the tuning mechanism. The higher the ratio, the more precise control you have over tuning the guitar.

I hate to break it to Steve G who trashed this fine guitar earlier. These guitars were made in Korea, not Indonesia. I have a NiteFlySA as well and quite frankly, for a lot less money, this guitar is almost on par with USA Parker. I fact I had to replace the 2 single coils on the SA with Dimarzio Area 58's as the originals were flat sounding. The 2 humbuckers on the P-44 are very punchy and allow me to play many styles of music. The only advantage I'd give to the USA Fly is a trem assembly is a bit smoother than the Wilkinson. The Wilkinson is very good though.

' Well, let me check again...yep, says Made in Indonesia on my P-44. Regardless, it's a very fine instrument, and if they decide to re-launch the brand, this is the model that they should stick the closest to. IMHO..

@InterspeciesErotica7 I've just had a look at some pics and I can see where you are coming from! however if you take a secondary look this parker has the two covered pups accompanied by the two toned trem that is similar to the ones PRS use :) thats all i meant by my comment.

That thing at the top (the upper horn of the cutaways)...man, it will hurt your chest when you play it sitting down. LOL! No kidding, I used to own a Fly Deluxe; it dug into my chest and it hurt so bad, it ended up bruising my breastbone or something. On a positive note, nothing I have ever owned played like that Parker Fly. And I have some pretty amazing guitars.

Made in Indonesia, doesn't even come CLOSE to the USA Parker's , the Piezo isn't even Compareable to a USA doesn't come within a mile of the USA Piezo Parker and the Pickups aren't even close. Cheap Indonesian imitation of a once GREAT guitar. These are cheap, poorly built and sound it. Ken Parker quit the company in 1999 when Washburn bought it and the reasons are obvious
