Yes.. I also live in Texas and yes... the fake temp plate is an issue here... but Tow Trucker acts like every Texas Temp plate is automatically illegal!! My wife had a Texas Temp plate (issued by the TX DMV) as a 30day extension bc her plates expired like a few days after her car threw a check engine light and the state grants you a one time 30day temp tag!! What pisses me off is that he thinks he knows what is a fake temp tag and what isnt... as if he lives in Texas!! Dude you live in Georgia... so to come off as if every Texas Temp tag is fake is 100% wrong!!

I've never lived in an apartment complex and even I know that complexes almost never allow major service on cars in the parking lot. Even most trailer parks and planned housing developments won't allow this kind of thing.
@willjenkins41952 жыл бұрын
Yup that’s how my complex is, if you have to jack up a car you have 24 hours, get it fixed, get it into your garage or get it off property and if the tow guy comes there is no mercy it’s very clear in the lease you can’t work on cars in the lot
@dodgeplow2 жыл бұрын
I pulled a transmission, replaced the seals, and reinstalled by the following morning. I also drove my vehicle to another spot so everyone could see it was operational. No way I was risking a tow.
@willjenkins41952 жыл бұрын
@Dr. Plop the plop doctor that’s 4-5 spots that aren’t available for paying tenets. It’s not your apartments job to provide you with a place to fix your car. Not to mention code enforcement would have a cow with cars sitting there in different states of repair. Not to mention the EPA would have a cow with all the fluids and everything else that would come with that. Lastly I will 100% guarantee the rest of the people that pay to live there aren’t going to want someone running a make shift mechanic shop in their parking lot

I tow cars myself and I am in san francisco and oakland california. It's alot harder here when it comes into the towing industry. I use to do tow away and AAA but not anymore. Now I have accounts with police impound and alameda county sheriff as well with the california highway patrol. I wish I can have a channel to video too but cannot do it when to much goin on and to pay attention. I've been doing towing since 1997 and here I am still. Towing industry has change alot throughout every each year. Towtrucker be safe and be there for good people.

💯👍 Thank you for the wonderful content. Anytime I do any work on my vehicle I make sure it is out of the way I drive over a tarp and make sure it is movable by the end of the day. My disabilities limit me to what I can do. But I always make sure I do not believe one drop of oil on the floor. I have had maintenance come up to me and ask if I needed any help. If it is a bigger job and I have to take a few days on doing it because of my disabilities I can only do so much and I am down for a few days I will ask a friend a family member someone who owns a home if I can possibly work on my vehicle there and I always let them know how long I will take and I treat the people that let me work on my vehicle that takes longer the same way as if I was at the apartment I do not leave tools scattered out oil left around I always make sure I park on a tarp never leave one drop of oil on the floor. You have to be respectful even though you are paying rent it is in all or almost all lease agreements the vehicles cannot be disabled. I got towed because of a flat tire and did not see the sticker the sticker was a copy of a copy of a copy with a drop of Elmer's glue holding it onto the window when I seen the tow truck I went out there barely touched the sticker and it fell off. I did not give him any problems I knew I had a slowly it is just difficult to keep up with things like that especially when you are disabled. I think it is disgraceful and can be somewhat entitled when you leave tools everywhere fluids everywhere and a car halfway taken apart it does not look good at all. AS ALWAYS MAY GOD BLESS YOU YOUR FAMILY AND ALSO YOUR COWORKERS. PLEASE STAY SAFE

@forbeshutton54872 жыл бұрын
The system is too soft on the deadbeats. The punishments were decided on in the 50s or 60s, when someone not compliant had simple made a mistake. Now, it's a driver who knows they can't drive, can't title the car in their own name and therefore can't insure it. Driver's license, proof of insurance, and ownership/title and valid plates should be an absolute requirement when stopped by the police. No license -impound the car and they can walk. Don't have any 2 or the 3 items required - seize the car and auction it off. Fining them doesn't work, they are driving on suspended licenses for non-payment of other fines or child support. It's easier and cheaper for them to ignore the law than follow it. And hit and run should be a minimum of a year in jail.

The Texas temp plates are real - the problem is that the DMV sold licenses to print them to anyone, not just dealers - so you could buy a permit to print as many temp tags as you wanted and then sell them. Plates are legal, they just are being sold to anyone that needs a plate for 60 days - including criminals to put plates on stolen vehicles..
@ThomasKent13462 жыл бұрын
Texas needs to recind those licenses and just issue them to reputable dealers. Here in Montana, the only ones who can issue temp tags are dealers and the various county treasurers.
