Hello, I am making some gloves for my wife. According to studies by Dr. Peter Tass, the study uses LRA haptic motors that vibrate at a frequency of 250 Hz at intervals of 100 ms for each finger, with micropauses of 67 ms, then a longer pause of 1.33 seconds. I made a different program and circuit than the one you use. I bought some 320 Hz LRA motors. These motors work with very low alternating current. The motors you use are direct current and do not reach 100 Hz, so I think the stimulation is not effective. The vibration frequency has to be at least 250 Hz to stimulate some mechanoreceptors (Pacinian curpuscles) that function in responses to different types of pressure and vibrations. I am waiting for the parts to make and test it.

Hi Jeremy, they are working ok, the main issue I have is that I can't use them very long, only every four days for 10-12 minutes max, or I get overstimulation problems. Hope that helps. If you have more questions feel free to email in info@lifewithparkinsons.ca

@@jeremymorgan9582 Hi Jeremy, I use the 167 pattern, and have continued to run into over stimulation problems, which can be very painful(TMJ). The gloves are great, and I am thankful for the relief they have provided, but I am debating to start using something else instead, since I can only use the gloves every 4 days for 10-12 mins max. Will put a video out in a little bit

Why not to put the vibration inside a glove..?
@LifewithParkinsons
@LifewithParkinsons 3 ай бұрын
If you put them in a glove, we found out, then the vibration travels through the glove fabric and contaminates the signals to the brain. Each finger, we found, needs to be isolated from all the others. What has happened to me is overstimulation problems. I hope that explains it.😊😁😀

@@LifewithParkinsons thanks a lot for your reply. I saw the gloves in Stanford, they do it +/- inside the gloves. Do you think they do it wrong?

@@danear2 I'm sure the Stanford Gloves are much better and way beyond any system my friend and I could build. I heard they have vibration separation in the gloves.

@LifewithParkinsons

@@danear2 I would describe it like something that stops vibration from travelling to a different part of the glove. I am not an expert in this technology
